The Caeffatri Bar and Grill is a privately owned bar and restaurant in the heart of Bridgend. The Management has over 20 years experience in the leisure industry and following the success of The Highwayman Inn, Rhoose, decided to embark on a new venture. Situated off Coity Road, close to the Princess of Wales Hospital, The Premier Inn & McArthur Glen outlet village at Junction 35 of the M4, the restaurant is open daily for lunch and evening meal. The Caeffatri has undergone a substantial investment to give it a new lease of life with a fully refurbished bar, restaurant, lounge and function rooms. The new menu has been devised by our Head Chef and offers a wide selection of freshly prepared dishes with all produce being sourced locally. Dishes range from traditional pub classics, steaks, fish dishes, daily specials, Sunday lunches, a freshly prepared children menu and not forgetting the Highwayman infamous Condemned Mans Meal. Opening Times Monday - Thursday: 12-11pm - Meals Served: 12-9pm Friday & Saturday: 12-12 Midnight - Food Served: 12-9pm Sunday: 12-11pm - Meals Served: 12-5pm

Visited a few times now, family, couples, friends. Both bar menu and Sunday lunch are amazing!!! The staff are incredibly friendly and polite... Even the owners get stuck in serving the food and continually making sure you are comfortable.

Where do I start? I've been back to the Caeffatri lots of times because they get everything right. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the food is always cooked perfectly, served hot and tastes amazing. My daughter is always made a fuss of every time we visit (especially by Trish) and it's her favourite place to eat. The recent... More

With this restaurant being #1 in Bridgend according to Tripadvisor, I expected far better ingredients. It's difficult to get an all day breakfast wrong, but using cheap ingredients is a good start. The sausages and bacon were as "value" as you can get, one fried egg had a runny yolk, the other hard. The mushrooms were nicely seasoned and buttery,... More

If u want real customer service then this is the place to be. For Mother's Day we had left it last minute to find somewhere to eat. I said there was going to be no where that's going to serve us Sunday dinner now but low and behold we finally found this place. They were extremely accommodating and didn't make... More

Went for a family meal to celebrate a birthday, we hadn't booked, but staff were very welcoming especially the manageress, who showed us to our table, informed us of the specials, and took our orders for drinks. Our food arrived, all very nicely presented and tasted superb. We all really enjoyed and were quite full, but when the owner came... More

Several people have been advising us to try the caeffatri, so booked a table for 4 on Mother's Day. All of us had starters, roast dinners and deserts and the portions were extremely good, the quality was superb and priced very competitively. The staff were attentive and it was also nice to see the owners taking the time to speak... More
