My wifes starter of olives and bread cosisted of toast and there was no olive oil or vinegar. The olives were pickled and not very nice. The veal main course was delicous. Our friends had swordfish fillets which were overcooked and dry. The potatoes served with both meals were chunky chips and greasy. The menu described them simply as potatoes, odd.

This place totally exceeded our expectations - my daughter is vegan and they couldn't have done enough to accommodate her needs at short notice - we've eaten out every night during the course of a two week holiday and this was the first time she was offered a vegan sweet. For the carnivores out small party can also recommend both... More

This was my first visit to Zia Nina. We went as a small family group for a birthday, and had phoned ahead to organize a bottle of fizz. This awaited us on our table. The menu was compact and easy to make a decision on food choices. The food was a delight, tasty and appetizing to look at. We were... More

Fantastic evening. Booked for my daughter's 18th having dined here before and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere in the Italian setting .We were a party of 23 and pre-ordered the food, we were a little worried as we wanted a special night and some of our family were new to Italian Dining!!! The night went off better than we... More

We went here on a busy Saturday evening and opted for the 2 course deal. I had pate (lovely) and the beef pie which was gorgeous. This arrived with a selection of vegetables, sadly it was so delicious I was forced to share it....! A dessert was offered as a £3 addition and I went for Affogato which was perfect.... More

It has been many years since I last visited Zia Nina, probably because I didn't really rate the restaurant highly. I had never been particularly impressed with the food, service or menu. However, I went there for lunch last week with a group of colleagues from work and I was really impressed. We went for the two course lunch special... More

I have visited Zia Nina's on five occasions with my father and brother who live just outside Bridgend. The food has been first class on every occasion and at just under £10 for most it is exceptional value for the quality of the food. I have always found the service to be consistently good. My father is not very mobile... More
