Welcome to the Toby Carvery Bridgend. When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Bridgend’s favourite carvery restaurant. Drop by and you'll find lots more on offer, including cooked breakfasts and tasty specials.

Great staff, not great food.

We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who showed us to our table. We were then asked our drinks order and they promptly came. We ordered two courses for £6.99 the soup was incredibly cold but the waitress quickly changed it for us. The Carvery was quite bland and lacked flavour. Staff were... read more

My partner and I have been to a number of Toby restaurants. We visited this Toby at 18:30 Wed 18th. And I must say the meat portions were a joke!! Even my partner who is not a big eater was shocked by the portion she was given. It wasn't even a slice of meat. It was the scraps on the... More

Always an enjoyable visit at the Toby Carvery Bridgend and excellent value for money. Sundays do get very busy, cost more, and usually there is a wait for a table; which is why I prefer to visit on weekdays. I think it helps to know the routine at the Carvery: you are greeted upon arrival and shown to your table... More

My wife and I decided to call into Toby Bridgend for breakfast this morning. Whilst the restaurant looked clean and tidy we got an uncomfortable feeling as we weren't sure of the procedure and several staff walked past us and ignored us. We eventually caught the eye of a man behind the bar who told us that we paid him,... More

We always enjoy a Toby, Bridgend restaurant is always clean and the staff are friendly. The food was warm but never boiling, but what do you expect for a carvery. I love the toasties and cannot get enough of them. Only downside there was no crackling, shame.

Had a meal on a Wednesday afternoon in January so it was fairly quiet in the restaurant. We were seated and orders taken in no time at all. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. Food (sausage and mash) was well done (a few vegetables would have been welcomed). The carvery looked to be good value and proving popular. We have... More

My family and I have had many carverys over the years but this Carvery restaurant is by far the best we've had. Excellent joints of meat so tender and full of flavour. Vegetables that were cooked to perfection and bursting with taste. A lovely layout and a great atmosphere. My family and I will be back.

We went there on a Monday lunchtime after someone told me Toby Carvery's now offer vegetarian options. Looking at the options on the menu I picked what I wanted and when our slightly awkward waitress arrived she said that as they have very little interest in vegetarian options from customers only 2 of the listed options are actually available. So... More
