Me and the missus popped in for a snack and a drink on the way back to the car - the place is just by the car park and seemed popular with lots of customers. Not so much a 'restaurant' as a 'cafe' - but very acceptable, we found the staff helpful and pleasant, good choice of food and it... More

Firstly this place has 2 different signs up. One saying order at the counter another saying table service. Would it hurt to take one down instead of causing confusion? Visited 2 times first visit for coffees and a toasty. Can't go wrong with a toasty but it was literally plonked onto our table with no words by a chef who... More

We had a quick stop to refuel and get back to the car (the car park is just round the corner) on a hot morning in July 2014. It's not a massive place but looked inviting from the outside with plenty of people having tea. We got a table for 2 and a waitress came over almost immediately, I hadn't... More

The service was slow when there were barely any customers - I'd say there were more staff than customers. The food was fine, drinks were nice, but we were overcharged twice in 2 visits...

Fantastic. Food is brill and staff are great 'especially the Canadian girl'. It gets very busy but its only a few minutes until a table is free. The new burgers are lovely and my son loves the cinaman toast. The price is good for what you get and another massive bonus, Forces discount! :-)

My girlfriend and I visited the shop for a coffee after a long walk up Pen y Fan on bank holiday Sunday 4th may. We were very disappointed with the service we received from the two members of staff working that day. They were very unfriendly and unhelpful towards us. Not a smile between them. They hardly acknowledged us except... More

If you need a quick and tasty lunch or just a cup of tea in the middle of Brecon (opposite Tourist Information office, next to Morrisons supermarket) this is a good spot. The food was good, the prices extremely reasonable and the staff delightfully cheerful, helpful and friendly.

This restaurant is well siruated in Brecon easy to find and well patronised. We always make for this restaurant on our frequent visits to Brecon, the reason: It provides a good varied menu and the food and presentation are first class. The staff are friendly helpful and create an ambience that is most welcome. It does get very busy and... More
