Excellent food

We visited the Gurkha Corner whilst on holiday in Brecon. I'm a fan of Nepalese food and so was pleasantly surprised to see plenty of genuine dishes on the menu, as well as the more commonplace offerings you would expect in any Indian restaurant. We were in Brecon for two nights, we ate here on the secon night. That was our first mistake, if we had eaten here the first night we would have been back the second! For starters I had the Pyaj Pekora vety tasty and not spicy. much nicer than the Momos. for main we had chilli chicken and Gurka Curry.... More

The food was very good and the menu interesting although a little different from the more normal Indian food as it was Nepalese. The restaurant was small and cosy, service was good and the prices average.. We would return and happy to recommend to others.

Visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening with a group of friends who were in Brecon for a walking weekend in September 2014. The restaurant is small and it was packed. We booked a table...booking highly recommended. Don't be put off by first impressions at the entrance, the staff are welcoming and the service is good. The food excellent, and... More

table for 9 isn't easy, in a small place like this. But they managed it at 2hr notice, and served a great set of curries for the family. Lots to choose from in a variety of 'strengths' and the nettle curry was superb

I have been to this restaurant many times, they do Nettle Curry and the best lamb dishes I have ever tasted. The staff are Nepalese and have close links to the garrison town, they are very smiley and attentive. The atmosphere is very friendly and the quaint restaurant is small and so can feel crowded. But, that has never stopped... More
