Would have loved to have tried this restaurant based on other reviews, but when we turned up on a Monday night, it was closed. Looked great from the outside!!

Quite simply lush!!! In a nut shell, we liked it so much we went twice in the space of three days. Service is a little slow and they are not the best organised, but the food is worth that small quirk, so I say don't miss this place

This was our first experience with Nepalese food. Whilst the service initially was slow, due to a very busy evening, the food was absolutely worth the wait. Subtle spice flavours, this food was delicious. so lovely in fact, that we went along for another meal two nights later. brilliant, really worthwhile experience.

This was our first experience of Himalayan Nepalese cuisine and we would thoroughly recommended .The food was absolutely delicious- far more subtle flavours than Indian food. Everything tasted really fresh. We would recommend the Gurkhali special platter as a starter- great for sharing- a mixture of tandoor cooked meat and fish and including the surprisingly tasty cheesy chicken. We shared... More

Tuesday evening and the restaurant was packed. We ate upstairs in what can only be described as a living room with sofas and coffee tables! Compared with normal Indians the food was different and exceptionally tasty. Thoroughly recommended.

The staff were helpful and attentive and the food was delicious - rich in flavour and not as greasy as many Indian restaurants. Unfortunately, they were out of my partner's first choice main course, were a slow serving the starter and with a long wait between courses despite the restaurant being fairly quiet and the diet cola that I ordered... I have been to this part of the world on many occasions but always seemed to miss out on a visit, and had been wanting to try this place since all the good things I heard! I must say it did not disappoint, very traditional and full of flavour. They even have some Kathmandu beer (Albeit brewed in UK) to... More

Stumbled upon this restaurant and was very pleased we did. Yes they asked "did we have a booking", we hadn't and we were lucky to get the last but one table. None of us had eaten Nepalese food before and we all loved it. The staff are very helpful and extremely polite at all times. The food was beautiful, we... More

Went here after a full day of exercise gagging for a good curry - and didn't get one. We were early and first people in. Always seems strange when asked if you have booked and the place is empty - but it quickly filled up. The service was good and food arrived quickly although it was only just warm and... More

Ate with a friend as he'd eaten in a Gurkha restaurant elsewhere I highly recommended the cuisine. What a disappointment! Where on earth the good reviews come from on this place is beyond me! The place is small and feels like a basement, a basement with a takeaway in it. Looking past that I assumed the food would be authentic... More
