Visited and stayed at theTai'r Bull a long while ago now, but it is now just as friendly as it was back then. Friendly owner and nice clean rooms above the pub.

The staff were excellent, They even arranged for one of the Party to have soup which was not on the menu, A big thanks for that. All the meals were very hot, and... More

When we recently stopped for lunch, we received a very helpful and friendly welcome. Food was good if not exceptional. Would definitely go again.

Just enjoyed a nice Sunday lunch sitting in the sun enjoying lovely views. £11.95 for two courses, nice food, pleasant and speedy service and a nice pint too. Would stop for sustenance again when whizzing through on the A470.

We ate here after a morning hike up to Pen Y Fan and Corn Du, and we were rewarded with a lovely lunch with nice ale and cider. The lamb shank I ordered was beautifully tender and full of flavour and the chicken & bacon melt with smoked hickory bbq sauce was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this pub for... More

Called in here on the way back from a day out. And I have to say it was absolutely lovely. We called late afternoon and the staff were only too happy to open the kitchen for us. I had the fish pie and it was gorgeous. It tasted home made and fresh and I was served extremely good portions and... More

We booked this place at short notice and Helen opened up for us on the only day the pub is closed, Monday. After a day walking on the hills we were very glad to receive a warm welcome, good food and excellent real ale in front of a lovely open fire. It's a nice old pub in a great location... More
