enjoyable visit!

Just back from enjoyable couple of hours at lemon tree! Lunch menu is limited and a bit "pubby', but nicely cooked and presented - and reasonably priced! Sam - front of house was his usual attentive self. Nothing too much trouble for him or his lovely sister who really do do everything they can... read more

We ate here for both nights of our visit to Wrexham because we liked it so much on the first night. It's a lovely, stylish restaurant. The food is modern and fresh. Great breads. Steak was excellent. My daughter loved the prawns with chirizo. Marvellous wine too. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Went here on Friday evening, as they were clearing up after a 60th birthday party. Despite this the service was quick, attentive and we were soon sat and in place. The food was good, my steak slightly on the tough side, but tasty and the accompanying veg and chips tasty. My wife had the salmon, which was very tasty, with... More

This restaurant is a short walk from work. I have eaten in the main house restaurant before a few times and been pleased. Yesterday however about 30 of us went as a work get together after the funeral of a dear work colleague. The numbers required that we have our lunch in the 'lounge' which was a glorified large hut... Fabulous food including afternoon tea and 4 course evening meal, all beautifully presented and very tasty. Excellent, efficient service from a warm and welcoming staff. Would highly recommend The Lemon tree to anyone.Went with a group of friends for a birthday celebration and also have been as a couple...both times were faultless.

Have enjoyed this restaurant for many years. Unfortunately, a man took over who obviously thought he didn't have to do anything to keep the clientele. Stopped going there until today. What a difference. Lunch menu just right. Service good. Thankfully Sam still around. What a joy he is. Makes the whole experience more enjoyable. Will definitely be back now.

I visited on a Thursday lunchtime with a group of 10, despite the restaurant being almost empty the service was slow - we were there a total of 2 hours. I would not recommend this for a business lunch. The food was however excellent and the staff were friendly. I would visit again for dinner when I had more time.

We visited the Lemon Tree during a brief stay in Wrexham. The town seems to have a severe shortage of good quality restaurants but the Lemon Tree is outstanding. My wife and I were impressed by the tasteful decor, the highly attentive staff and the inviting a la carte menu. We enjoyed delicious appetisers of hummus with delicious choice of... More

We came on a deal which included everything and well worth the value. Afternoon tea was excellent 3 different styles of sandwiches and 4 different style cakes, the 4 course evening meal contained the best pork we had ever eaten portion sizes were spot on meaning we could eat every course. Food overall was very good. Nice to have staff... More
