Good deal

Booked last minute to take advantage of the £10 for two deal which was excellent.Very tasty Spicy Chicken Burger and super Haddock. Nice desserts. Only small negative was that it all took a bit longer than would have liked. Imagine that they only have one chef working as things were slow coming out... read more

We called in just after 5 o'clock for an early dinner after a very busy and fraught day. WE were informed that due to an afternoon function, the kitchen would not be ready for an other hour. However as we were in no rush we were provided with a table and more importantly a bottle of wine. We selected our... More

We visited this restaurant as four friends at lunchtime. We had the gourmet card which gives excellent value as 3 courses for 2 people. So this applies if there are four guests also. We took this menu but had no room for sweet as portions were so good. If you don't have gourmet card there is still an excellent menu... More

This was the first time I visited in years and I was very impressed. I was there to enjoy a Christmas Dinner with friends and I must say that both the service and the good could not be faulted. Food was delicious and not expensive, whilst a bottle of Prosecco I enjoyed was priced competitively and chilled beautifully. I plan... More

My husband and I came here a few times, a few years ago and whilst it was nice it wasn’t anything special. Having heard that it has been taken over, we visited for a family member’s birthday meal. The menu is quite small, but I had the prawns to start which was a generous portion and really tasty. For main... More

Very disappointing. Staff didn't ask us what type of sandwiches we wanted. We were just put on a table and left. There were two heavily pregnant woman within our party yet there was a lot of smoked salmon on the sandwich platter which was clearly meant for everyone, never asked about any fillings that we wanted or told that may... My husband and I dined at The Lemon Tree for our Wedding anniversary. I have eaten there on many occasions now, but have to say last night was one of the best experiences i have had. They had just put a new menu in place that day, which was gorgeous. I had mushroom & perl wen tart to start, followed... More
