Just been to the lemon tree for the second time this year food was excellent. Sam was absolutely brilliant kept us laughing all through our meal nothing was to much to ask for. Will definitely be returning.

We had decided to eat early so arrived at 6.30, our drinks were brought straight away, but then had to wait too long for our order to be taken and then ages again for the food to arrive. Glad we didn't order starters, however the chef did send us some complimentary bread and hummus while we waited. I had the... More

After 16 days in the UK it was a great surprise to find a restaurant that has moved into the 21st Century. TAPAS to die for and a Wednesday night special 3 plates for £10. No greasy fish and chips here. Sam and his sister Jess make a perfect pair and the new The Shack restaurant section has a great... More

Went here for a business meal recently and found it to be a very good experience. The staff were very helpful and friendly and did their best to really make a difference to our meal. The soup of the day was fantastic (sweet potato and roasted pepper) and the accompanying home made bread was good too. I had the blade... More

Went as a party of 7, Sam was welcoming and a pleasure to have serving us. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I can't wait to return there again.

Arrived at 6pm on a Friday as a pre booked group of 12 people. Our starters had not arrived 2 hours later at 8pm. Drinks service was also horrendously slow. Service was an absolute and total shambles, inexcusable !

Meal out in Wrexham with old friends hoping for a catch up and a good night. What we had was excellent food, great service and a night that was enhanced from beginning to end by the manager - Sam. He told us when we arrived that he was going to look after us for the evening and he did just... More

Stayed at the Lemon Tree this weekend with my 7 year old daughter and we ate in the restaurant Saturday night. The menu of The Shack was varied, inventive and exciting. We went for a selection of tapas. Every dish was fresh, elegant and delicious. The duck and Asian salad are a must. The staff were friendly and attentive and... More

I've eaten at the Lemon Tree for several years, we liked it for special occasions because, although it was more expensive than most in Wrexham the food and the service made it a great place to eat. It has changed hands in recent years and The Shack with its tapas and burgers has been added. The Shack is very popular... More

Without going into too much detail- The manager drank my wine to which he stated- I poured it so I'll drink it! He swore constantly whilst interrupting our conversations Food was ok but limited choice Manager stank of smoke and kept nipping out for a fag- by the time he came back, food was sold out! To top it off,... More
