My husband and I were on holiday just down the road from The Bull Inn and went in for lunch. My husband ordered the yorkshire pudding filled with mash with sausages and onion gravy. He couldn't eat the sausages they was so full of gristle. When he complained to the staff he was told that all sausages have gristle in... More

Family of 4 adults and 2 children went on Sunday 22nd March 2015. We all had the carvery which was hot and ok apart from the roast potatoes which were too hard to cut. Woud we go again:- Yes, because for value for money it was ok.

Visited early evening December 5th. Had our three year old granddaughter with us so thought it would be a good idea to order the carvery rather than wait for a meal from the menu to be cooked. Below average food. Beef Ok and plenty of it, but vegetables were frozen and nothing was hot. Granddaughter was able to eat her... More

This is the eighth time that the group has visited the Bull for a carvery. Service was superb and the good was excellent (it may be frozen but well cooked). The chef and staff were very pleasant and we were all made welcome. Look forward to our next visit.
