Weird but OK - Great Food.

The sign in the toilet says this pub has been in the same family ownership since the 70's - they have not changed the décor since and have merely added with some strange touches such as toy cars on a ledge high above the bar. They have a segregation policy on kids which says kids under 12 must... read more

Visited with wife and teenage boys one of which is vegetarian. The veg menu was very poor with us having to double up a child's portion of pasta which was very poor value at 9.10. for pasta and a tomato sauce. The guy behind the bar had to ask me 4 times whether the bottle of water I asked for... More

A really typical old style pub in a great location on the beach front. Very quirky inside so chatacterful . Food and service excellent with a varied menu. The haddock and chips is huge . Desperate Dan portions! Pet friendly too!

we visited here over the Easter holiday. We were unable to eat as they were fully booked however we did stay for a drink. There is car parking directly outside overlooking the beach but was very busy with it being the bank holiday. It was great for us as we had children and a dog and were made very welcome.... More

We visited on a Monday at 6pm and it was empty which we didn't mind as it was rammed the night before. Staff were very pleasant and food was good so no complaints. I noticed a few on here complaining about food prices which I don't understand as prices are on menu board so if they thought expensive why eat... More

We picked this restaurant from some of the excellent reviews, and our own past experience. We noticed that it had some poor reviews but foolishly ignored these. I won't bore you with all the detail but the food and service were terrible, along with the general attitude of the staff, when we explained our findings. We do accept that mistakes... More

I Went to the ShipInn for a few drinks on a horrible cold rainy Sunday afternoon with my lady as we were spending the weekend at Red Dwarf Bay. The pub is very nice and the staff are friendly, well presented and professional, the price point is also very good, but unfortunately we left the Ship Inn miffed and disappointed.... More

Visited this Inn on several occasions this was the first time with our dog though. At first we left the dog in the car but the lady behind the bar informed us that they had a 'dog house' which is a separate room which they allow dogs. The room was nice and as clean as the rest of the Inn... More

We spent an very pleasant evening at the Ship Inn, Red Wharf Bay, Pentraeth in April. The ambiance was relaxing and the staff are most helpful, and attentive and the food was first class. We will be back, I am sure.
