Super place to chill, relax and watch the world go by! We had a sandwich and portion of chips from the lunch menu, these were really tasty.

We go to the ship every time we are in Anglesey.A good place to chill and watch the world go by in the summer and a good place to chill when its not so warm! Drinks are on the expensive side and although the food is good sometimes we feel squashed and slightly uncomfortable when we order a meal. Tables... More

We had previously been for an early evening meal only to find that lunch is between 12:00 and 2:30 pm on weekdays. Did not stay and returned on a lovely sunny day for lunch. The tide was exceptionally high and and the views were lovely. Needless to say it was fairly busy, with very few empty car-parking spaces, and we... More

Went to the Ship with my wife a week ago for dinner, after a day on the beach. I last went to the Ship two years prior and was a little worried it may have gone down hill, as some reviews suggested. However I thought the food was excellent, very tasty, and very good portions. The service was also very... More

The Ship Inn is located right on Red Wharf Bay and on a sunny day in July we all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. There was a very extensive specials board and we enjoyed fresh garlic prawns, local mussels, vegetable lasagne and homemade fishcake. Everything was fresh with soft bread and butter and a great selection of local beers on draught.... More

Had fish & chips here at the ship , I do agree with other posts the portions were large but had very little taste , overpriced , go to whitby for fish & chips and I think you will find you won't be going back to the ship to eat there's

Whether eating inside or outside, there is a lot of character and historical atmosphere about this popular pub. It is busy and friendly. I had fabulous giant garlicky prawns in their shell served with home made bread. Local giants cheese was another great starter we sampled. Sunday roast was let down by pale roasted potatoes and grey looking vegetables. My... More

We came to red wharf bay to celebrate my daughters 2nd birthday- and it was everything she wanted. We walked on the beach and enjoyed the food at the pub. The children's portions we huge and the girls (2 if them) couldn't finish 1 meal between them. It was cosy and quaint and all 4 adults enjoyed it, most of... More

I can't really comment on the food, because we didn't eat here, but as a pub, this is a great venue, with loads of character and a wonderful position, right by the seafront - marvelous views and a nice little area for sitting outside. The beer was well kept, but there arguably wasn't much in the way of choice of... More

Great pub. During peak season you do need to book ahead if you want to eat in the evening. Separate dining areas for families. Vast menu with lots of fresh fish. I had steak which has to be one of the tastiest I have eaten in a long time. The service is superb with everyone being very attentive. It is... More
