Went for lunch today. Had freshly caught plaice, new potatoes, lovely vegetables, portion of garlic bread, Friend had some sort of vegetarian 5 bean chilli and garlic bread. Child had small portion of Haddock and chips(£8.00) one small glass of house wine, 2 glasses of lemonade. It was a tad expensive at £53 for everything but I would have gladly... More

On a grumpy grey January day, after a long wind blown walk The Ship Inn was the perfect stopping off point. Of the four of us, three went for the seafood chowder and one the chicken liver pate. The pate was nothing special but the seafood chowder met with universal approval. Decent beers too - we had a local one... More

We often travel here and never disappoints, we park in benllech and walk along the beach to red wharf bay, I go with the intention of trying something different from the menu other than the fish and chips but so far after 8 visits I haven't managed it!! Beautiful fresh fish in crispy batter that can't be beat anywhere. Beautiful... More

Our party booked a table for New Years Eve at The Ship Inn, Red Wharf Bay. The whole meal was superb. The food was excellent, as was the service and table deco. The food and wine were reasonably priced and of excellent quality. The pub and restaurant rooms were warm and welcoming. The Inn itself has superb views across the... More
