Fantastic views situated right on the river even in the thunderstorm that hit whilst we were there! Food was spot on great portion sizes to match their great prices. Friendly fun staff. Would definately recommend and will definately be going again

Great location on the river. Good choice of food. Good quality. Excellent prices. Friendly waiters and waitresses. The only small niggle was that order taking was on the slow side. I will certainly return here next time I am in the area.

We have visited the Deeside Café on a number of occasions and can always count on home cooked food at a reasonable price. Today we dined outside next to a stunning view of the river at the bar entrance to the café near the road. We ordered the minted lamb baguette and special of Mushroom & Cheese Chicken Breast with... We ate here twice during the very busy eisteddfod week. Although the place was packed the service was great. The food was good. We did not have to wait too long but it was freshly cooked. Good menu too. Although they were busy there was no sense of being rushed.

I called in one afternoon, hungry after a long walk. I had the 'special' steak and ale pie. It was delicious, plenty of tender steak mixed with potato, carrots and gravy. I didn't have room for dessert, though the choice was tempting. Service was good, staff friendly. Please be aware they only take cash.

Right on the river........we were lucky enough to get one of only three little tables, situated outdoors on their tiny verandah looking out across the river. Our lunch was delicious. Fresh, hot and plentiful. I had tuna melt.....my husband had fish and chips. Absolutely lovely, and served by extremely friendly staff. We will definitely eat here next time we visit.

I have visited this restaurant at least six times this year and on every occasion have received great service and great food. The menu has something for everyone, English, Italian, Curry and much more besides.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in Llangolen and we came across this bistro and decided to have lunch. I'm glad we did as the food was delicious. We had the chicken & chorizo salad with balsamic vinegar and it was simply to die for and the service was very good as well. As the weather was lovely... More

Inexpensive, clean and cheerful. Wide, basic menu. My husband had a good chicken pasta dish but my cottage pie tasted of tin mince/ bisto.Merlot house wine was a bit blackcurranty spangles. Iceberg lettuce was the basis of a side salad.

On a day out in Llangollen 8th July 2014 we visited the Deeside Cafe Bistro, we arrived at a busy lunchtime and it was explained to us that it could be 10mins before we were able to have a table but we were made very comfortable on a two seater settee in the bar, my husband was reluctant to wait...
