Following the great TA reviews, we made reservations for Watson's and found it off the beaten path along a short drive. We were greated-and-seated and began a wonderful culinary trip. I wanted to try this Bistro as I had seen the reviews. First impression was great. Nice little venue. I was impressed with my fish starter and main. However my partners food was a different story. His main was lamb 3 ways, sounded great on the special board but it was so bland, such a disappointment. The outside area was... More

It is a shame that this place is number 1 in Conwy. It was August Bank Holiday Saturday and Conwy was very busy. Watson's was rather quiet. We had the lunch menu which is all that was on offer, and was therefore limited and rather basic. We thought that there were a couple of strange taste combinations. I couldn't work... More

Ate at Watsons on a cool and rainy evening. The place itself would be easy to miss if you were just walking the streets. It is not on one of the busy tourist streets and is set back from the road. Do seek it out however! They some wonderful dishes made with local fish and lamb, and good salads. It... More

Have now visited twice in the last month, each time thrilled with the food. The service is perfect, and the food about as good as it gets. If you try no other restaurant , you must try this one, you will be glad you did

We really enjoyed the food here - excellent quality, and fantastic chef. Good wines, and lovely staff. A very pleasurable night out.

No doubt the best restaurant/bistro in Conwy. Came here 3 times during our holiday in Conwy. By far the best food we had. Sunday menu was excellent value.

Fabulous lunch, food all freshly cooked and delicious. Lunch menu (two courses for £12) is amazing value - no skimping on quality or quantity. Pretty, secluded location. Pleasant waitress, giving just the right amount of attention. Looking forward to returning for an evening meal very soon and cant wait to share this little gem with family and friends.
