A Pleasant Lunch

We called in here for a light lunch and I was pleasantly surprised as the interior is a rather an eclectic mix which in my experience often means the food is secondary to the whims of the owner! Definitely not the case here, good unpretentious food and snacks, fresh and tasty too and complemented... read more

Wanted somewhere for a good bite to eat. This place is a little jewel in the numerous tea shops found in Conwy. The eclectic mix of decor, books and service is very special. Although we have a dog we did not take him in this time but intend to the next time we eat in the town, nice to know... More

Delicious lunch and so lovely for my dog to be able to join us. Great service and an ample sering of scampi and chips with huge salad garnish. Love the eclectic mix of furniture and the decor. There was a range of cookery and children's books for you to peruse and purchase too. Think this is the only cafe in... More

WE ventured into Conwy without me doing my usual research of suitable gluten free eateries. Didn't want a big meal, just soup as it was a very cold day and we were walking the walls. Happened upon this gem. Everything on the blackboard was marked whether GF or not. The home made vegetable soup was lovely, and tea plentiful. Nice... More

Visited on the way home after a weeks holiday this afternoon for lunch with two children (7&3). The food was superb with prompt and friendly service. This place is definitely recommended. The kids even bought books with their own money.

Visited the coffee shop again for lunch and smoothies - again we had a very pleasant visit. Food came on time and tasted great as before.... On our next visit we will be trying the hotdogs and pulled pork as they looked and smelt delicious :-) Great selection of cakes - shall be visiting again very soon

This is a small cafe that makes good use of limited space. There is also a small, pleasant outdoor area. The menu is rather more varied than many of the traditional eating places in the area. All food is freshly prepared and cooked, portions are generous and the food is of good quality. Staff are pleasant, helpful and very efficient.... More

I have visited the cafe several times and think it's about time I give the review the cafe deserves. The friendly staff are attentive and welcoming. The food is impressive whilst being great value for money. The coffee is fantastic and the shops atmospherics gives you a great experience from when you walk in the door, to the second you... More

Excellent coffee and service. Though a little pricey it is worth every penny. The food looks very good particularly the bespoke breakfast. For those ladies with a sweet tooth the cakes look vey tempting. Newspapers and books make a welcome change to tv.
