We were looking for a good country pub with some wholesome food after a day on the beach at Aberyconwy. We found Ye Olde Bull Inn as it was well rated on Trip Advisor. I'd re-iterate what other reviewers have said - proper 'pub grub', large portions and a good selection of ales on tap. Food was piping hot, served... More

Ye Olde Bull is the quintessential country pub. It is a J.W. Lees Pub. So the J.W. Lees Bitter is the favored beverage. But they have other beers. And they also have wines. The Lamb Burger ( made with Welsh lamb of course) served with chips and peas was one of the best meals I have ever had. Simple, but... More

As a group of 12 drunk in this pub over a long weekend and ate here on a Saturday night. Real country pub , real fires, traditional decor and stunning location run by friendly staff, Food and service were very good and we were given our own dining room. Only negative for me was that only 1 ale is available... More

Really friendly pub where the staff are more than happy to help. When it says 'home cooked' food they genuinely mean it, the chips have been cut by hand and aren't just frozen. Open log fire and dog friendly too!

Two friends out hill walking from Rowen, we stopped for a pint. Great beer, amazing fish 'n' chips in a basket, lovely staff and friendly patrons. Planning a return trip.

Had to visit this pub whilst on holiday as it was literally yards from the cottage we rented. Went in for Sunday lunch, 5 of us had a variety of meals and desserts - the Welsh lamb was delicious as was everything else. Well cooked and presented and piping hot. We ate in the cosy dining room and, whilst we... More

Four of us went here for lunch last week. Sitting outside in the sunshine looking out over the great view. The food was good value and the beer excellent. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Would definitely return.

we had a party of 5 with diverse tastes and appetites, all very happy with the food , with the steak pie just having the edge over the fish and chips. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant or efficient, it was a very pleasant evening in good surroundings. It will be on our personal recommended list from now on
