Called in to book for a group I am taking over to Llanbedr y Cennin next Spring. Cold day left behind as a roaring fire welcomed us as warmly as landlady(?) Marilyn. The menu is extensive with plenty of 'specials' - all reasonably priced and cooked to order. Home-made lasagne went down extremely well with my daughter whilst my friend... More

Very welcoming friendly old stone village pub serving top notch pub grub. Excellent real ale and fair priced wine with a great view from the rear terrace. We booked a table in the bar for 7pm and were intending to leave about 9pm. Having had a very enjoyable meal with a good bottle of wine we got chatting to some... More

We stopped off here on our journey from Cheshire to Llandudno. Put it in your satnav because it's off the main road. It's well worth a visit, but please note that meals are only available on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The meals are delicious, generous, served piping hot and the service is friendly and efficient. The locals too were... More

As this is the local of friends we were staying with it was great to eat at a typical pub. The atmosphere was warmly welcoming, the staff were fantastically friendly and the food comforting! We had a great night here and would be very happy to visit again.

The beer and choice of wine was very good. The menu is not very traditional, mixes dishes I would not necessarily tried but worked, well presented and of a high standard My partner thought the décor could have a polish up. The reason it did not get a five is due to not being able to book a table. I... More

We were looking for a good country pub with some wholesome food after a day on the beach at Aberyconwy. We found Ye Olde Bull Inn as it was well rated on Trip Advisor. I'd re-iterate what other reviewers have said - proper 'pub grub', large portions and a good selection of ales on tap. Food was piping hot, served... More

Ye Olde Bull is the quintessential country pub. It is a J.W. Lees Pub. So the J.W. Lees Bitter is the favored beverage. But they have other beers. And they also have wines. The Lamb Burger ( made with Welsh lamb of course) served with chips and peas was one of the best meals I have ever had. Simple, but... More

As a group of 12 drunk in this pub over a long weekend and ate here on a Saturday night. Real country pub , real fires, traditional decor and stunning location run by friendly staff, Food and service were very good and we were given our own dining room. Only negative for me was that only 1 ale is available... More

Really friendly pub where the staff are more than happy to help. When it says 'home cooked' food they genuinely mean it, the chips have been cut by hand and aren't just frozen. Open log fire and dog friendly too!
