Lovely little tea room

Popped in for lunch looking for a light bite and wasn't disappointed. Small portions but wasn't looking for anything big - and £15 for two is really good value. I had scampi which were small but tasty, partner had rarebit, again fine. Staff peasant and service was prompt.

Visited tearooms Sunday 11.30 ish very quiet . Ordered tea for two with Welsh cakes. The tea came complete with dirty cup (lipstick ) no apologies off the young girl who served us. And then came the wait!!!! We had finished our pot of tea and couldn't fully understand what was taking so long we can only assume they had... More

We've stopped at this place many times and thoroughly enjoyed their Welsh rarebit as a light lunch. So we went in about 12-20 on Sunday 15th of February and ordered two rarebits and a pot of tea. The tea arrived within five minutes, but the food didn't! We heard waiters telling people who arrived after us that there was a... More

if today's experience is anything to go by. The two of us got a table today, Sunday, around 12:15. We ordered a starter and 2 Sunday mains. The prawn cocktail starter must have been served 40 minutes later, with one piece if bread not buttered. The mains arrived around an hour later, and unfortunately were nothing exceptional. Other customers were... More

Popped into this little Cafe for some cakes to take to my Mums, The poor girls were rushed off their feet, I over heard the young girl saying she had not had time for lunch. Well the cakes were so lovely, I popped in for a few more to take home for the Children to enjoy. When I got to... More

Quaint and character place, but staff awful and we had a dreadful experience. As a customer, you were a a nuisance. The waitress was more interested in talking to her friends and we had to disturb her to get service Afternoon Tea ordered, also tea with teacake. Food was tolerable, but we will not return to be treated like that.... More

Myself and my husband visited the Pen-y-Bryn last Thursday 20th Nov. Not knowing the area we walked around looking for somewhere nice to have a decent coffee and a bite to eat. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with beaming smiles and gorgeous smells of food. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for .....relaxed and... More

I live in Llandudno so i tend to bring many friends frequently for a tour around the area. Last Saturday (15th Nov) we arrived to this Teahouse at about 4.30pm. The girl ( very young) said abruptly that they did not serve food now, when we enquired about a coffee (that is what we were after) she said yes. I... More

Every time my wife and I visit Conwy, we stop here for the full Welsh breakfast and homemade scones. Neither disappoint and its a great way to start the day.
