Early reservation but place was busy with families and others visiting the food festival. Staff attentive and friendly and were keen to share the best way to enjoy the food. Seafood soup with extra bread spot on. All the seafood, inc the troublesome squid and cuttlefish was cooked just right. Nothing rubbery in this bowl. Well done folks. Please still... More

Lovely place tucked in behind a pub in Market Street. Service friendly and efficient, menu very good.

The outside of this restaurant makes it look a little humble but the food is of excellent quality and freshly cooked, with unusual choices as well as old favourites on the menu. The staff are really friendly.

Came here last night to celebrate a friends birthday, & I have to say, our evening was superb. To start, I arrived a little early to ask the staff if it'd be okay to decorate our table a little bit, which they had no problem with at all. When our friend arrived, they very kindly gave us some time so... More

Small, funky little restaurant serving simple but excellent Italian food. Basically a pizza and pasta joint with only 2 'specials' - sea-bass and baby chicken when we were there - but everything authentic (pizza with real Italian sausage - not pepperoni, but the sort yu onlyget in Tuscany) home-made pasta to die for - the sort of place you only... Tasty food professionally served. Slightly limited menu but at least you know it's freshly cooked. Not easy to find as further down the road than you might think, beyond other shops and restaurants and tucked away. Good value too.

We loved this restaurant so much we went twice during our stay in Abergavanny. To put it simply; attentive hosts who gave us great recommendations, a good ambiance, tasty food with reasonably sized portions (the pizza is delicious) and an open kitchen that wafts delectable smells through the restaurant. It definitely deserves to be number one in the town!

I have been in Abergavenny for holiday in august. I 've a dinner in Pizzorante and I woul highly reccomand this restaurant: fantastic food and good service. I've eaten fish, fantastic pasta "tortelli di zucca" and a chocolate cake, "tortino di cioccolato con cuore fondente". I'm italian and I can safely say that in this restaurant Italian cuisine is really... More

Didn't book but they accommodated us within 40 minutes . We all had different starters which were very good along with the mains although we did think the Lasagne was lacking in flavour . We didn't have time for desserts as they were closing but wouldn't hesitate in booking next time to enjoy the whole experience .
