We have family in the area and always enjoy shopping in the town and this is the only place to eat. Amazing home made chips and their home made pies are to die for, a true legend in the making

The hot meat rolls are absolutely outstanding and service is always great! It's a fantastic little restaurant that really adds the village feel to Abergavenny. Its the main reason I go to Abergavenny. If there was any criticism it would be that the food is slightly expensive.

What an amazing place! Really is the best place for brilliant service and food! We recommend their meat rolls!! Manager was lovely and attentive! He always looks like the only one working hard though, which is a little disheartening! But this really is a lovely little place! Recommended!

From the minute you enter you are in a welcoming place. Service can be a little slow when its busy, but can't be helped in a popular place as bums on seats prove when you go in & no matter what, you always get top quality service with a smile. As for value for money, you can't beat it. In... More

Never been to Abergaveny before - and on a cold, wet Sunday the smell of roasting meat was wafting up and down the street - which made us go in. Eclectic and random, lots on the menu, really enjoyed my roast beef dinner (loads of roasties, meat & gravy) and my partner had a MASSIVE breakfast - which was good.... More

This is a bit of an abergavenny institution. You can eat in or buy food from a hatch in the shop front. It's well known for hot meat rolls. However, for the prices they are now charging, they should make some changes. The quality of the meat is poor and the stuffing is from a packet - how hard would... More
