I've been once before so knew where it was but otherwise could easily have missed it - tucked down a side pedestrian walkway. Cosy, reasonable prices & clearly popular as both times I've been I've felt lucky to find a vacant table. Staff very friendly & happy to 'tweak' ingredients / choices not... read more

Stopped here for lunch on a short trip to Abergavenny. We were starving and very much in need of lunch so simply followed our noses and found this place. It couldn't have been better. Great food served with lovely fresh salad and amazing coleslaw. I'm only sorry I didn't see the millionaires shortbread until I went to the till to... More

A lovely old fashioned friendly tearoom tucked away off the main track. Blissfully relaxing and warm on a wet Winters day. Friendly, polite and helpful staff allow you time but supply advice where required just the right level of service. A nice range of food to suit all tastes and as much as possible locally sourced

Visited with two business associates, we enjoyed an excellent Welsh rarebit, lasagna and full breakfast. Quick, helpful and polite service and really good food. Place was busy, it always is but plenty of seating and room for large groups of people including those with prams by the look of the seating areas. Varied menu with plenty of choice including a... Called in for a large breakfast, have to say the best sausage and bacon I have had in a long time! This isn't abergaveny's cheapest breakfast, and the usual breakfast staples of hash brown and back pudding are 70p each extra. But it was a very tasty and enjoyable experience! 2 minor issues, I asked for no mushrooms and I... More

Called in here on the off chance and what a lovely cafe. Good value for money and one of the best scones I have ever eaten. Will return when we are next in town.

Xmas shopping in Abergavenny started with a breakfast feast at this lovely cafe. Food was very tasty and staff friendly and efficient. Good value meals (6.95 for sausages bacon egg mushrooms tomatos and mushrooms with plentyof toast and tea ) all served quickly and presented very well. Will definitely be calling in again.
