Great for Veggies, good food served well and a nice clean place. Great for families with young kids. Outside seating, great coffee and an excellent breakfast menu. Mainly serves locally produced food.No junk food here!

Always welcomed with a smile. My children enjoy the toys at the back and I enjoy the free wifi. The menu has a good range of breakfasts, snacks, sandwiches and jacket potatoes as well as hot, cold and alcoholic drinks, ice cream too! The specials board adds variety. Service is good, not too in-your-face but still attentive. They're flexible with... More

Always a lovely place to visit weather it is for a cup of tea and a piece cake or a home cooked lunch. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. Lovely old setting. Good value for money. A must if you visit Abergavenny.

Have been several times on trips to the town, nice home made grub. Friendly staff, good service. My partner left his mobile there and they were really helpful getting back to him in the post, which was much appreciated.

Always had a an excellent meal here. Service is friendly and the place is lovely inside or out. Our last visit was this April. We have a three year old she loves cakes and the cake was very nice. I recommend this bistro to all who visit Abergavenny.

A lovely restaurant for lunch. The baguettes (ham & cheese with Dijon mustard, Stilton with walnuts and apple sauce) were exceedingly good and the homemade coleslaw was absolutely wonderful, the staff were very friendly and eating sat outside in the sunshine added to the whole experience.

I'm very aware that people frequent eating houses on a regular basis. This visit for me was the 1st time. I would recommend the Trading Post for the food for sure. I did feel that one member of staff was not quite pleasant enough but overall I enjoyed my visit and would go back again.

We called in this pm and found a table and the waitress took our order. When it came the soup was warm but the bread roll that came with it was tough. It was as if the bread had been over microwaved, but having managed to eat it I did not lose any teeth! When I paid at the till... More

We used to visit The Trading Post regularly from 2003-2012. In 2012 we had a string of poor experiences here and eventually stopped coming. The quality of the food had dropped, the service was slow and the hygiene poor. We tried it again today in the hope that the worst was over. The service was quick (but then we were... More

I have often called in to the Trading Post for breakfast when shopping in Abergavenny, and during the annual Food Festival it is rammed to the rafters. Not the cheapest breakfast in town but usually good food and value in a lively atmosphere, but not today. Breakfast was, at best, severely average. I ordered the Full Breakfast at £6.90. Two... More
