... the toastie was nice. Walking it the cafe was busy and looked clean and tidy. Given the name Cwtsh cafe I expected to see some Welsh around, but there was nothing other than the name. It would have been nice to see if the had locally sourced produce which would have been more than enough. Service was slow but... More

Having been recommended the Cwtch cafe by my father-in-law, my wife and I decided to pop in for lunch having strolled around Abergavenny. Whilst the cafe doesn't take cards, there is a bank about 3 doors down. The cafe was fairly full, but we managed to get a seat, which incidentally looked into the kitchen. The cafe was clean, without... More

This is our little treat. Although today we had breakfast we've also been for a naughty but very nice slice of cake. I'm a local retailer and never hesitate in recommending Cwtch to customers who ask. Highly Recommended

I've visited Cwtch many times with my mother after our weekly hospital visits. We are always greeted with a warm welcome and service and food/selections are excellent. Looking forward to our next visit.

Found this pretty little cafe after florists' appointments for my wedding and thought I'd give it a try. A very attractive exterior, and pretty inside too AND I was lucky enough to get a table in the window. The cafe was busy and fairly full, although it was a week day, usually a good sign. Cwtch means a safe place... More

Strolled upon here on a sunny trip down to Abergavenny with my gran! Just lovely! Clean and tidy. Well decorated with great ideas. Great cappuccino and glass bottled coke. We will definitely come back again next time we visit 👍

We were really pleased when we found this cafe. Not least because the rain was horizontal. We were welcomed with a smile ( what a difference this makes) and ordered pancakes, crispy bacon, scrambled egg and maple syrup all beautifully cooked and beautifully presented for £5.95. We both wished that we had room for a piece of one of the... More

What a pleasant experience this was. Attentive service, good breakfast and great coffee. A real alternative (and antidote) to the coffee chains which have come into the town.

I visit this restaurant every time I go to Abergavenny and I have never been disappointed. The cafe is small but very clean and you can also sit outside in good weather. The food is excellent and very well priced, all the ingredients are fresh and everything is made to order. The staff are lovely and very helpful. To me... More
