Coffe cake and toast orders were taken by a very pleasant man. Service was quick cake was stunning particularly the raspberry and rhubarb and large portion sizes too. The toast was thick hot and with plenty of butter and jam. Coffees steaming hot. All in all a delightful cafe which lefts us feeling toasty and warm.

A lovely place for homemade cakes, quiche and refreshments. Price not extortionate either. Lasagne and salads were good.

We were lucky to get a table for lunch on a wet day in this small cafe. Without thinking about how much food we were ordering we asked for a potato and leek soup to share and 2 scrambled eggs on toast. It was really way too much for lunch. It was served very quickly considering how busy they were.... More

We chanced upon this little place when visiting Abergavenny and what a find! Delicious homemade cakes. To my husbands delight there was Manchester tart - something we have never seen in a tea shop - and it was truly divine and made by the owner. Lovely coffee too. It is a family business and Rhys was charming. Only wish we... More

Always popular, it can be tricky catching a free table but if you do, there's a great selection of cakes and cooked food. abergavenny has a wide selection coffee stops and cafes and this is one of the better independents. Try it for brunch.

Busy Saturday morning; looking for lunch. Didn't fancy fish and chips, and a pasty didn't get us comfortable seating. Saw this place and remembered it had good ratings on TripAdvisor. Pleasant atmosphere, fairly busy, clean. At first glance it appeared to be just cakes and baguettes but we noticed a short list of specials, all of which I quite fancied.... More

Coffee and cake, or during the winter, a bowl of homemade soup and a wedge of bread. This is the place for the best of both. Sit outside and watch the world go by, or huddle inside (a regular moan of mine - when I eat out, I don't want some random stranger almost sitting on my lap) for a... More

Stopped at Abergavenny before heading off for a walk. Just came across this tiny cafe. So glad we did cos the coffee was great -far better than chains which we try to avoid anyway. Cakes all homemade, many gluten-free, got the thumbs up too. Service warm and friendly. Will definitely make a beeline here when we return to Abergavenny. A... More
