Well worth a visit after walking around Caernarfon castle. All homemade and delicious. Takes a while to make a choice. Bakewell tart flavour is delicious. !

Friendly staff and good value for money meals all made with fresh produce. The ice cream was delectable and I have never tried most of the flavours available.

I generally only use Palas Caffi in the warmer months for their excellent Ice cream. One of the many cafes in the vicinity of the castle, it can be busy and there is not a great deal of space, however it is pleasant to sit outside when the wind and weather allow. You cannot miss it being on the corner by... Really average cafe with pretty much average menu BUT the soup was amazing. Spoiled by being accompanied by mass produced sliced bread. Shame to spoil a good product with economy bread.

Whether you're in Caernarfon with your family, a couples weekend, with you mates or simply alone I'd highly recommend you visit Palas Caffi to try their homemade ice cream. Standard of ice cream in holiday destinations tends to be average more often than not, this place on the other hand...top quality. What struck me most was the vast array of... More

Do try it - and if you can't finish it all they will doggy-bag what's left! Really friendly service, homemade cakes: cream scone, bara brith, Welsh cake and a pot of tea for less than a fiver!
