I enjoy my fish and chips and have been to some good chips shops before and plenty of not so goos ones. I don't know what they do differently at this place but the haddock and chips was just brilliant. The batter was light crisp and really tasty.I wish it wasn't 200 miles from home

Best fish and chips of the area without any doubt. Loved their battered Cod. Still miss them. If you are visiting the place, it is indeed round the corner

Just finished a portion of what are quite possibly the best fish and chips I have ever had! All cooked to order and sensible portion sizes, if they were closer to home I'd be a regular. Thanks

Another rainy day in Wales so we stopped for some chips whole waiting for the indoor play area to open. Only had chips but they were the nicest chips I've had in a long time! They were crisp and fluffy inside without a hint of greasiness. Go get some!

We arrived in Caernarfon Sunday evening and everywhere had stopped serving food so we stumbled across this chip shop. This turned out to be the best decision we could have made. They were absolutely delicious. Cooked to order and quite simply the best we've ever had. When we spoke to others they also agreed. The two lads serving were lovely... More

Decided to try here as our usual chippy was closed, think that Ainsworth has now found a new customer so much nicer here. Place is spotless, staff very friendly and chatty and the fish and chips were fantastic. Thanks
