Busy with a bit of a wait but worth it!

We only had pie sausage and chips but it was all freshly cooked which meant a bit of a wait, but well worth it, very nice indeed

How many chippies do you know of that routinely use temperature probes on all their cooked food? This one does! I visited on Saturday night coming up from London on an overnight coach trip and heard about this on recommendation from the tour guide. Weekends are obviously very busy and you can expect to queue for about 20-25 mins but... More

We thought it was sit down but there are just a few high stools at front. Very busy so took a while to be served and we ended up with an extra fish when we got home! They were rushed off their feet but the food was great. A really lovely fish and nice chips. Not dry at all. Recommended.

Ainsworths is like no other fish and chip shop in town.. Mr ainsworth works hard to maintain the highest quality food by cooking everything fresh to order, hand prepares sacks of fresh spuds every morning along with a fresh outstanding customer service, this (for me and many others) makes ainsworths fish and chip shop the best chippy in town.
