The parking was relatively easy - that was the best bit! I would never serve a Sunday roast in a bowl that would be better serving stew. The lamb was fatty and the potatoes, such as they were, were hiding at the bottom. When the dessert arrived the custard serving was no bigger than a small egg cup. In all... More

We visited as a group!of five, having just completed two days' hiking in the Cambrian Mountains. Appetites were big, and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant has a nice character: rustic, but modern. This underlines the approach of quality without pretentiousness in the restaurant. The menuhas a superb variety, and caters well for vegetarians, and alters over the years to take... More

We booked the table only hours before going they were very accommodating having a table ready for 7 of us at the time we asked. Food was lovely very quick service and very filling. Would definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again.

This is a gem of a restaurant. The food was super, the service very good and it was good value for money. Order before 6.30 at the moment and you can have a child's main course free with each adults. We booked on the day but probably worth phoning ahead as it seemed very full today. Highly recommended.

I guess it is easy to be swayed by good reviews early on and then let down. A bit like overhyped movies (for me that movie was Slumdog Millionaire). We arrived here and the staff were very polite and accommodating. This has to be said. The ambiance was also quite good. My food was well cooked and tasted pretty nice.... More

Although this pub is difficult to find, it's a hidden gem, and the staff are more than happy to provide directions if you call them. To begin with, it's a truly special experience to be able to both order your food, and be waited on, entirely through the medium of Welsh. Furthermore, this pub's food is truly special. It's a... Fantastic food and service. Visited on a Tuesday eve and hadn't booked table, may be advisable to book if you can as got quite busy. Good choice of food, particularly veggie options. Food came quickly, all four meals very tasty. Kids bolognaise portion was large. Not a scrap left from anyone. Thoroughly recommend beer battered fish and chips with minted... More
