We visited during the special offer period between 5-6:30pm on a Saturday. They were offering free childrens meal with each paying adult. We were 2 adults and 3 children. They did not charge us at all for the children. The venue is wonderfully decorated with a traditional welsh theme. It's modern but still with an old fashioned charm. The owners... More

We had a very pleasant lunch, two of us went for the spicy bean burger which came with salad and fries. One had fish and chips and peas. Some good looking banana and chocolate sundaes followed. There was a meal deal of 2 courses for £10 which was very good value. All in a pleasant and relaxing setting. Top notch!

Whilst on holiday we took the advice of others on trip advisor who rated this as a good place for a meal. We were not disappointed the friendly welcome and high standard and good choice available from the menu meant we had a lovely "home cooked "meal. We hadn't booked but the staff were helpful and gave us a table... More

Visited this restaurant whilst on holiday in the area. The six of us had a different meal each and nobody had anything but praise for the food served. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Aberystwyth area. The food was amazing, the service as well. Well worth booking in advanced as we went on a Thursday evening and it... More

I use to go there every time I have friends coming over for the week end and I always have great food and service. The meat and all the rest is locally provided and it is cooked just perfect. The desserts in particular are gorgeous! If you are in Aberystwyth this pub is a must to visit.

We booked Sunday lunch here whilst on holiday in Pembrokeshire. What a find, absolutely delicious food and attentive service.I am usually a bit disaappointedvwith Sunday lunch out but this was so much more than pub grub.In a beautiful little village just outside Aberystwyth it is well worth seeking out.

We visited this restaurant during a short break in Aberystwyth. The owners of our B&B farmhouse, who are located nearby, were envious that we were going there, and it is easy to see why. The restaurant itself is very pleasant and although attached to a pub it is a class above what one might expect of a pub restaurant, in... More

Excellent traditional food with a modern twist. Great service and friendly sfaff :-). Both the curry and the lamb we had were really tasty with a lovely homemade rhubarb crumble and ginger ice cream mmmmm. Well worth the drive out.
