Le Casablanca has great, homemade fresh mediterranean cuisine which has never disappointed us in the years we have had meals there. We have have lovely, tasty, and unfussy North African couscous there, as well as Tagines, lovely vegetarian meals as well. You can bring your own wine, so this also makes the evening quite reasonably priced. Jo, the owner and chef, is always attentive to details and makes sure you are happy and having a good time. This personal touch adds to the homely, relaxed atmosphere which has made us go back again and again over the years. You'll eat very well, you'll be welcome, and you will feel that you've had a relaxing time with friendly people around you! Highly recommended.

Unusual little restaurant as serves only starters and main courses, no dessert, bring your own wine/beer as not licensed. Food really good though, lamb tagine delicious. Very good value for money.

Thank you for your review and visit! We apologise profusely that you were not offered any desserts; we do have a dessert menu and hope on your next visit you can sample a selection from it. In regards to the bring your own policy it's due to personal preference rather than a lack of license we hope you understand. See... More

Could not believe the very low hygiene rating. So I checked the Food Standard Agency site. It does say "1". I now cannot believe how people rated this place so high on here...might be because of all the "tripadvisor awards" displayed all over the windows?? I now regret we ate there. How is it possible to not display the ratings... More

Went to the Casablanca last night after going on Tripadvisor to see what was on offer in Aberystwyth. The outside doesn't look inspiring, and a lot of people I guess would simply walk right past.Inside, it's lovely.Compact and bijou but plenty big enough. We went in early as we hadn't booked and we and our two dogs were warmly welcomed by Joe,... Was physically ejected when I politely asked why statutory hygiene rating not displayed. The Owner?pointed to Tripadvisor 4stars sticker and threw us out when we pointed out that these were not the Hygene rating. The real public Health sign was displayed, hidden behind a net curtain about 10 ft up in the air and at a difficult angle to read.... More

Tagines were lovely, really yummy hummus with beautiful olive oil. Also really enjoyed the kofta. Lovely people who run the place. You can BYO which is great!

A cool evening in early September didn't feel like the best time to be looking for an evening meal. After passing a couple of inauspicious places we came to Casablanca. An unprepossessing door, but once inside it became a wonderful night. A few tables were already occupied, but we were greeted warmly by staff and made to feel at home.... More

We visited Casablanca in June 2015. We had visited Morocco the previous year and jumped at the chance to re visit the Moroccan cooking we very much enjoyed- and it's fair to at Casablanca did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the tajines were just as we remembered from our trip- slow cooked and full of flavour! The staff were... More

Ate here with my son. Very good service and freshly cooked food from a short menu (always a good sign I think). A shame that cous cous has to be ordered 24 hours in advance so we couldn't try as my favourite. Good value for money We enjoyed mussels and dolma, followed by tangines. Do try if you are in...
