Le Casablanca has great, homemade fresh mediterranean cuisine which has never disappointed us in the years we have had meals there. We have have lovely, tasty, and unfussy North African couscous there, as well as Tagines, lovely vegetarian meals as well. You can bring your own wine, so this also makes the evening quite reasonably priced. Jo, the owner and chef, is always attentive to details and makes sure you are happy and having a good time. This personal touch adds to the homely, relaxed atmosphere which has made us go back again and again over the years. You'll eat very well, you'll be welcome, and you will feel that you've had a relaxing time with friendly people around you! Highly recommended.

Authentic moroccan food

Probably my favourite restaurant in Aberystwyth; great food, relaxed and cosy atmosphere and excellent service. Highly recommend the cous cous and tagine.

Doesn't look like but from the outside but excellence awaits through the door! Warmly welcomed by the waitress and sat in a two by the window. Restaurant decorated in a morrocan style. There is the opportunity to bring your wine and the staff are happy to chill it for you. The owner and chef is always checking to make sure... More

I was in Wales for Holiday with my boyfriend and we asked to some locals for the best restaurant in Aberystwyth (I'm Italian with a strong passion for the food, I can eat only in the best places) and they sent us in Casablanca. I loved that place since the first minute I poped in. The atmosphere was so warm,... More

Having moved to West Wales in recent months myself and my wife were looking forward to our visit to the Casablanca. Unfortunately, we left rather disappointed and wondering why this restaurant is so highly rated on Trip Advisor. For starters, we order garlic mushrooms, which were fine, but presented on a bed of hot lettuce?! Who likes hot lettuce? This... More

lovely little restaurant that serves a range of Mediterranean food. It's bring your own booze as well. What's best about this place is the service. So friendly and even gave us a free dessert ☺️

Really lovely interior, the decor is authentic and creates a welcoming and cosy atmosphere. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and the portion sizes were generous. The only down side was the food didn't blow me away like I had expected. After wanting to try here for so long I felt slightly underwhelmed as the food was good but... More

Nice and busy with lovely north African music and decor. Food was great - tasty and healthy with colourful salad and beautifully cooked terrine and grilled fish. Very good portions.

Just returned from Casablanca. The food was great. Starters: Bourek - hot, crispy, savoury and piquant. Houmous - well this is soul food and and Casablanca's was full of that, light and oozing with oil and flavour. Garlic mushrooms - wonderful quality with a deep umami flavour. On to the main course: lamb and veggie tajine, both deeply flavoursome, especially... More
