Description: Le Casablanca has great, homemade fresh mediterranean cuisine which has never disappointed us in the years we have had meals there. We have have lovely, tasty, and unfussy North African couscous there, as well as Tagines, lovely vegetarian meals as well. You can bring your own wine, so this also makes the evening quite reasonably priced. Jo, the owner and chef, is always attentive to details and makes sure you are happy and having a good time. This personal touch adds to the homely, relaxed atmosphere which has made us go back again and again over the years. You'll eat very well, you'll be welcome, and you will feel that you've had a relaxing time with friendly people around you! Highly recommended.

We came here for our works Christmas party last night, we fancied something different to the usual turkey and trimmings and this was absolutely fantastic. The food is cooked to perfection, so juicy and full of flavour. I normally can't manage three courses but each one was just too good to pass up, it was clean plates all round. The... More

Came here a couple of days ago for a birthday celebration with a group of friends. Magnificent food! The Seafood Provencal was very fine, but my highlight was the Bourack starter (filo pastry stuffed with cheese and herbs and spices) and the selection of yummy dips. The atmosphere is highly sociable, a tad loud but I don't mind that, with... More

Had an absolutely lovely meal with a couple of friends in this restaurant, it's one of our favourites in Aberystwyth. It's easy to miss the restaurant from the outside, as it isn't much to look at, so walking inside is always a pleasant surprise, as it is very nicely decorated, in a clear Moroccan style. Upon arrival you are welcomed... More

We had a do there 28/11/14 for 15 people and everyone said that the food was excellent. The beef and lamb meals were succulent and so tasty. The owner was extremely friendly and hospitable. Can't wait until our next visit.

Two of us enjoyed excellent lamb tagine and salmon at reasonable prices, combined with swift, obliging service. As other reviewers have said - an unassuming exterior but very attractive inside. Will definitely pay a return visit!

After reading all of these wonderful reviews my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try whilst up here from Birmingham. From the outside It looked basic and fairly uninviting, but the food and decor inside definitely make up for it. I had a the meatball tagine special and my boyfriend had lamb koftas, both were incredible. The chef/owner was... More

This restaurant surprises. It looks unassuming. It is not unassuming. It is outstanding. From the pastries that my husband and daughter had for starters, and my hummous, which had such a wonderful, delicate mix of flavours, to the tagine that my husband had (he had never eaten chicken so tender) and the amazing crevettes that my daughter and I had....
