Well worth eating here

Some say it's not the place but the company that makes a great. How true. However it is also great food that makes a great meal. I took my wife for an anniversary treat to the Druid inn. The venue is basic but that is where it ends the food was cooked to perfection virtually all the food was made... More

Have recently been to this place. The signage outside the pub says 'serving great food...' Unfortunately this wasn't the case with our experience. The food was bland and took 45 mins to actually get the food served. Presentation was top notch but very disappointing when it came to eating it. The portions were massive though and like a child's meal... More

My mother and I called in to the Druid Inn on the off chance and so glad we did. Best chips ever. The fish was cooked too perfection and the salad freshly made. Staff were helpful and happy. Will definitely visit again when relatives visit later in the summer if not before. Thank-you chef. 5stars.

Experienced Sunday lunch at the Druid for the first time today. It was very good indeed, the meat (topside of beef in my case) was tender and tasty, the vegetables were plentiful and varied - carrots, mashed pots, new pots, kale, broccoli and pumpkin - all perfectly cooked, not overcooked or watery. The gravy was delicious. Apple crumble for dessert... More

Puddings were delicious and only £2 extra. Dog friendly in the bar area. Great selection of drinks. Will definitely be back and would recomend to anyone. I suggest... More

We had to go into Aberystwyth to pick up my son from the train station who was joining us on holiday. We needed a dog friendly pub that served good food and found the Druid Inn. They have 3 tables in the bar area that they let dog owners sit at though it's worth booking just in case. The food... More

Recommended by locals so decided to visit for my birthday meal. Booked ahead but not always necessary (mobile number 07870517356 if no answer on pub landline). Had Rump Steak for £16, Gammon Steak £11 and the most wonderful Fish pie for less than a tenner. All home made. The Steak was tender & perfectly cooked. All food is cooked to... More

I have made several visits to this pub and every time have been met with a warm welcome from the staff and the locals. The food has always been excellent and is very good value for money. The only problem is deciding what to have!
