The food is excellent, especially the Sunday roast with beef that melts in your mouth, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Visitors to my holiday cottage nearby always praise the service and never have any comnplaints. It's a local pub that I don't hesitate to recommend. We've only ever had the Sunday roast lunch at the Druid, so I can't speak for the rest of the week, but once again the quality and quantity was excellent. Unable to choose between pork, lamb and beef I was offered all three, so I got a selection of appropriate home made sauces to accompany each one. The meals came... More

Called by for lunch on a Saturday. The food was fine; nothing special, but nicely presented and freshly cooked. Main courses, in particular, were farily priced. Even though there were only 2 other tables occupied in the bar, we were warned there would be a long wait, and had the distinct impression that the staff would rather we didn't place... More

This place is a real find. From the outside it looks like a small local pub Nothing fancy inside but a good choice of drinks and a fairly comprehensive menu. All the food seemed to be home-cooked and was tasty and plentiful. It was very well preswented too.The service was good, very friendly.Couldn't fault the place, just wish it was nearer... More

We have eaten in the Druid many times and the food is always of a very good consistent standard. A traditional village pub with fine ales, friendly locals and staff who are well above the usual standard. It is no wonder this pub has won so many accolades from CAMRA as being the best pub in the area. Lewis and... More
