My Saturday night birthday dinner started with a cocktail in the bar upstairs- and it was nice to see a departure from the standard cocktails and my partner was happy with a decent pint of real ale. The menu is not huge but offers something for most palates (well maybe not if you were looking for a salad!). The cheese... More

Went here purely based on tripadvisor review. Really good gastropub, fair prices and the waiter/barman was superb. Only not awarded 5 stars as there was a long wait to take our orders.

We managed to get a table at the ORH, and were delighted by the warm welcome, food and service. Otter Ale on tap, too. "Pig" is an interesting variety of ways to eat the animal, beautifully presented; a hanger steak is an odd cut from the diaphragm, perhaps not the best meat but interesting and (we were told) can only... Visited the old rectifying house on a Sunday afternoon for a late afternoon bite to eat! We enjoyed a sandwich and a glass of wine for £12 each! The sandwiches were fresh, presented nicely and accompanied by home made fat chips which were to die for! Staff friendly, food great! We will be returning! 👍

I live in finland at the moment, but when ever I am back I make sure I visit this place, I've had a fair bit off the menu and never had anything other than perfection... The pig is delish, the steak is the bee knees, the blood Mary is both bloody and Mary and the ambience of the place is... More

My wife and I decided to hold a family party back in our home town (we now live in Preston) to celebrate our golden wedding. Following advice from family members we decided to book the Old Rectifying House and boy oh boy did we make the right decision ! The evening was a tremendous success. The food in particular was... I have visited the Old Rec several times over the summer for food and drinks and they have never failed to provide an excellent experience. I was worried that after the winter floods they would struggle to get back on their feet but they have... and some! The food is truly excellent and is matched by the service. If you... More

I enjoyed a great pint in the garden and my wife and I ate a tasty meal at not too great a cost. Service was charming, helpful and prompt. Would definitely go again if back in Worcester.

We eat here fairly regularly, and have never had a duff meal. The menu is simple, but covers all bases and changes with reasonable regularity. Home made breads, great burgers and the puds are to die for. The service is always friendly and efficient, and even the new member of the team remembered us the next time we visited. Good... More
