This was my first time at The Olive Branch and it wont be my last. I visited mid week with a friend and we were very impressed with the food, the atmosphere and the welcome. We ordered 6 Tapas dishes to share along with some warm bread and we couldn't fault any of the dishes. We somehow managed to fit... More

Visited Thursday evening with my daughter. We found the service and food equally good. We shared a vegetarian platter which was very very good indeed. We then proceeded to the tapas and again we were not disappointed. Only disappointment was not leaving enough room to do justice to the puddings. The non-tapas meals looked very good too. We will be... More

My wife and I visited on Saturday lunchtime, it was reasonably busy and we were seated upstairs in the restaurant. It is an attractive room and simply but sympathetically decorated to suit the style of the old building. We opted for the vegetarian sharing platter, two tapas dishes - mushrooms in Gorgonzola sauce the lamb kofta and a small Greek... More

We were visiting friends on a Saturday, and the restaurant we had planned to visit for lunch was closed. The Olive Branch had been recommended so we thought we would try it. The restaurant is in an old church, and we were sat upstairs by a stained glass window. The tables weren’t too close together, and were dressed with white... More

Visited just last week and it was great. My mother suggested it for her birthday and we were not disappointed we ordered a great selection from the tapas menu and the flavours were brilliant. However my personal favourite was the tapas of puddings it was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

First of all- the setting of this place is lovely. Nice little courtyard out the front to sit if it's a warm day...right next to a charming little church! Then 2 floors of table seating. I didn't see the cellar bar, but I imagine it's also lovely. We came on a Saturday lunch and were sat upstairs where there was... More

I love the food here, I've had the paella a couple of times and also the tapas dishes. Really tastey food, nice portions, not too expensive :)

I have eaten here a number of times and the food has always been good. I did always prefer the lounge in terms of the flavour in the dishes but this is a very good alternative. it's a quirky building and there is a nice atmosphere from the cellar bar up to the restaurant. Very busy on weekends now.
