Pretty surroundings and great food

Coffee was lovely and I really enjoyed my goats cheese on sourdough. My mum's tart looked tasty too, with a mixture of figs and cheese. Service was quick and friendly. One thing to note, the cafe is upstairs and they're quite steep so access may be a problem for some people. It's also tricky to get... read more

As much of Worcester seemed to be closed on a cold, damp Monday, we were very pleased to discover anywhere open to eat lunch before driving home across the country. You enter past a deli counter with a small but excellent selection of cold offerings, plus tea and coffee. Upstairs the restaurant was simply but elegantly furnishe. The menu is... More

Based in a lovely old building, you enter into the small but tasteful deli, then take the stairs to the upstairs cafe. Was cosy, comfortable and characterful! I had poached eggs with hollandaise sauce and chorizo on brown bread toast. Plus great coffee Heaven! My wife had a (substantial) bacon sandwich and orange juice. Again all good. Helped by very... I had an amazing soup of the day with homemade wheat bread, the service was fantastic from a lovely lady called Chloe. The cafe is small but cosy and clean, and there is a quirky deli... More

I've eaten at Mac and Jac's ona few lunchtime occasions and thoroughly enjoyed them. During October and November, they were hosting an evening menu fortnightly on Friday evenings, so w thought we'd give it a try. Fantastic evening, great food and the staff were just tremendous. Our main waitress was humorous, attentive and had a great personality. Well worth a... More

We arrived in Worcester following an early start and long drive on a Saturday. After a hunt around for a suitable place for coffee/breakfast, we came across this little gem. The seating/cafe area inside is up some steep stairs - there is no lift, so not ideal for those who find stairs difficult. It does, however, have one small table... More
