Very pleasant accompaniment to a trip to the theatre - small (thats a good thing) well-cooked menu. Staff were extremely helpful. Table is yours for the evening so you can order a dessert or drink to be taken during the interval and know you have somewhere to sit. Will definitely visit again.

A perfect pre theatre dinner beautifully served mindful of the time of the start of the concert. I had the slow cooked shin of beef which was superb my wife had the pollock which she said was the best she had ever had. The desserts were mind blowing, I had the Malvern pudding which was wonderful. All in all a... More

I booked in advance to enhance my evening at the Theatre with a friend. The food was awful. My duck was not edible. The service was poor with three separate servers. When asked if all was well I said no but nobody bothered to ask why or offer any help to resolve the problem. I had to go to the... More

..........I would agree that the food is very good quality and reasonably priced and that the service is very friendly and efficient. However, if there are very many diners, the waiting times become unacceptably lengthy. I have spoken to the on site staff and confirmed that they are aware of the dining reservations made and of the theatre reservations for... More

The catering contract has changed in the last year. The last contractors were not good in our opinion. We heard good reports from a number of friends so have been twice in the last two months. The food is very good quality and reasonably priced. The service has been friendly and efficient. However on our first visit the starter took... More

We have eaten here several times before plays in the theatre and have always been satisfied with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff, but often felt we had to wait rather a long time between courses. This did not contribute to a relaxed state of mind, knowing the performance would start soon! On our last... More

I ate at the scene restaurant at Malvern Theatres on Sunday 22nd June; we were visiting the area and just went in on the off chance; the waitress who served us was so helpful and polite, I was with my brother who tends to be a fussy eater but she explained each dish carefully and told us we could change... My friend and I went for a lunchtime meal to Malvern Theatres, we were told we could not use the dining room as there was a matinee on and the tables were reserved but there was food out in the bar area. The choice, half a bagel with salmon and cream cheese £3.85, roast beef and horseradish roll or an... More

This was a first-time visit to 'The Scene' in Malvern, although we frequently visit the theatre. We came out of the second of three sets of three one-act plays (Coward's 'Tonight at 8.30') just in time for our booking at 18.00. The bistro was pretty full, but it was only a few minutes before a waitress came to take our... More
