Our family run business is now firmly established as a destination dining country inn. We have created a relaxed and friendly ambiance in an eclectic interior with quality fabrics, comfortable furnishings and an attention to detail throughout the operation. Our ethos is simple, to deliver great quality classic food, sourcing fresh products locally. The same attention is applied to our drinks, carefully selected value for money wines from around the world, organic juices, local real ales & ciders and fabulous Nespresso coffee. When the weather is warm enjoy lazy lunches or evening suppers in our terraced gardens and for that special occasion dine in private in our library themed room for up to 12 people. New for autumn 2014 is an external fireplace, cosy wool blankets to enjoy alfresco drinks as winter approaches, under our new glazed veranda.

There's little more to say than this place is brilliant. Peaceful location, beautiful decor and design, friendly attentive staff and really wonderful food. It's that good!

Beautiful place to eat outside on a summers evening. Wonderful patio and garden area. Service was excellent and the food was exceptional from the bread and oil starter and olives to the excellent main course and dessert to die for! Efficient, friendly staff throughout. Wonderful evening will definitely go again when next in the area.!

Went for lunch with a friend who lives in that area. (It is a bit far afield for me.) We both opted for the burger. It was the BEST burger I have had in UK since arrival 19 years ago. Thick, juicy, cooked to perfection (medium rare), not over seasoned. With cheese, chutney, a touch of salad, French Fries with... More

Visited at midday on a Saturday, 4 adults, including one who had frequented the pub in decades past, all of us familiar with the area. The Inn has been totally renovated, all in excellent taste. Many fine interior seating areas to choose from, and two different outside patios facing wonderful views, both with sun and shade, all on the same... More

We celebrated our daughters 2nd birthday here. Four adults and 1 child for lunch on a Thursday. I really could not fault it, the service was excellent and the staff were friendly, competent and accommodating. Beautiful setting and tastefully decorated with a fabulous menu and wine selection. The cheese board was aparticularly good. There is an enclosed garden at the... More

Welcomed and shown our table immediately Very friendly staff Our first visit and we felt like they really cared about our needs. Menu specials explained and drink order taken We ordered bread and olive (to keep us going!!) and in our experience uniquely asked if we we would like to have a starter course as well so that they knew... Last visited here two years ago and the decor has changed. It is even better than it was before. Good menu with some great touches. Has the asparagus with a deep fried egg to star, which sounds odd but was amazing. Free range egg of course. Sadly the main, the house burger, was overcooked and tough. Good wine selection and... Went here for the first time on Thursday night. Friendly staff and the food was served relatively fast. Lovely setting, especially the outdoor area. Food was priced well and similar to other places - about £35 for three courses. I would recommend a visit!

Thoroughly enjoyed our most recent meal here. The service was great, despite the place being really very busy. Ate al fresco on their flower-filled terrace with views across to the Malvern Hills. Just lovely!

Visited again with my fiancée as an early treat for her birthday. As usual the service was great, everyone was fantastically polite, friendly and knowledgeable and the food delicious (particularly recommend the sorbet) Will certainly be returning soon.
