Paella and tea

Friendly bistro down a pretty wynd in Malvern. Good seafood risotto washed down with a refreshing pot of lapsong souchong tea. A relaxing and very pleasant lunch - would pop in again.

We went to the Fig Tree last Friday evening, arriving about 8pm. We were the only customers, the restaurant having been very busy earlier with pre-theatre diners. Our three courses were all very enjoyable, good quality ingredients freshly prepared; the wine was excellent. The service was friendly and welcoming and despite being the only customers we were given plenty of... More

Stopped off in Malvern for lunch and we came across The Fig Tree, my husband had spaghetti Bolognese and I had Seafood Rissoto, both very generous helpings and very good. Waitress helpful and friendly. Would revisit without a doubt.

We had a delightful evening meal at the fig tree this weekend. The service was excellent. All of our requests were met immediately and we all really enjoyed our food. I ate two dishes from the specials menu but I would have liked to try everything on the menu. Definitely worth a visit.

In Malvern With extended family. Needed to find dinner for six at fairly short notice. Each of the party enjoyed their meal which turned into three courses as all was so lovely! Good food, extremely tasty, with extensive drinks menu. We would travel to Malvern for the right reason... Which would include an excuse to eat at The Fig Tree

Ate here with my daughter before a film at the cinema. We were shown to a tiny little table upstairs in a corner, where standing up was a problem due to the low ceiling. I ordered the fish stew, which arrived under-cooked. I mentioned it to the waitress, who took it away and brought another (partial) replacement. This time, there... More

Went last night with two friends before going to Malvern Theatre. My fish stew was superb, so much so that I am trying to re-create it myself with what I hope will be similar ingredients. The service and friendliness of staff were excellent. These days I am more often than not disappointed when I eat out, but last night's experience... More

Nicely set back from the noise and bustle of Church Street but cramped surroundings and poor quality forod, unimaginatively cooked.

I prefer somewhere with warmth and comfort. The decor here is contemporary and little cushioning on the chairs. Food ok but not a particularly interesting menu and pricing toward the higher end Nothing wrong just too ordinary for me

We often eat here during summer trips to Malvern Theatre as it is so pleasant to sit outside in the courtyard. There are several tables downstairs too and more upstairs. The menu is thoughtfully prepared and limited, which I prefer to long tomes of microwaveable stuff. Service is good and you are never rushed. A lovely place to eat.
