We often eat here during summer trips to Malvern Theatre as it is so pleasant to sit outside in the courtyard. There are several tables downstairs too and more upstairs. The menu is thoughtfully prepared and limited, which I prefer to long tomes of microwaveable stuff. Service is good and you are never rushed. A lovely place to eat.

I have been to this restaurant a few times over the last few years. It is tucked away in a courtyard area of Church Street and can look a bit unpromising at first. The downstairs area can feel a bit chilly in winter when the door opens but I find it warms up once most people are seated. There is... More

We were in a bit of a rush which wasn't a problem. The three fish salad, followed by a slice of cake and an excellent coffee were all perfectly prepared and presented. Great food and lovely service. It was a bit cold in there, but otherwise 100% recommended.

I've been here quite a few times over the years but recently, it's been really poor. It is often cold in the winter, as stated on some reviews, but it's not consistent that's the problem. Yes, they have a specials menu, but it has never changed at all in the years I've been coming, so it not special - never... More

If you're going to advertise squid on the menu you really ought to be capable of cooking it. It was rubbery and bland as was the rest of the meal. Nice service though but no atmosphere and it wasn't very warm. Never again

20m from the high street (Church Street) down a small alley way rest this little restaurant. The Fig Tree is a very pleasant place that serves a variety of home made food of quality. From sandwich to jazzy pastas, risotto, excellent salads (go for the 3 fish salad!) and selection of of specials. This is a real gem of a... More

we happened to notice the Fig Tree as we walked past the yard just off the Main Street and went in just by chance. It was a bit late for lunch but we were made very welcome. The food is a nice mix of Mediterranean/English, well prepared and presented. The portions are more than adequate and there is a good... More

A lovely tasty meal before a 7.30pm performance at the near by theatre. Service was efficient but not pushy, food was delicious. Not cheap but good value for a well presented, well cooked meal with plenty of choice and fresh ingredients.
