Established in 1987, Anupam is the oldest Indian restaurant in Malvern and a proud member of the Malvern community. Located in the heart of Great Malvern and a stone's throw from the theatre, makes it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends and family for all occasions. The first floor restaurant has succeeded for the past 24 years through reputation and recommendation of its' delicious food and exemplary service. We emphasise in producing Indian food of unrivaled quality using prime fresh ingredients to make a menu which has evolved over the years to produce what we believe caters to every taste. As well as new dishes, many signature Anupam dishes have been on the menu since the restaurant first opened in 1987! The knowledgable staff are more than happy to help you choose the right dish for you, the chef can even make a dish specific to your tastes. As for dessert, the local company "Honey" located in Malvern Wells produce a range of desserts specifically for Anupam which have proven to be immensely popular. The Anupam also boasts a large wine list made by Robin Jones, which is regularly updated and at an extremely reasonable price. We also have a wide range of beers and soft drinks, including local drinks, "Hereforshire Pale Ale", "Stowford Press", "Clive's Farm juices" and of course Malvern's infamous spring water by "Holywell".The Anupam wishes to extend it’s welcome to all those wishing to experience quality food and drink in an atmosphere that encourages them to simply enjoy.

As good as you will get anywhere

I rarely feel compelled to write a review but I sit here writing merely half an hour after eating. The food is as good a Bangladeshi curry I have experienced anywhere in the UK (including the east end, Leicester or Birmingham). Got a warm welcome and shown quickly to our table. We started off by having papadum and dips, then other half had an onion bhaji which he thoroughly enjoyed! I then had a chicken korma and pilau rice but thought the korma was rather thin to what I have had before and the peshwari nan could have done with more... More

I had onion bahjis which were devoid of flavour and small. Then I had prawn saag with a peshwari nan to mop up the juices. The curry was dry, dry, dry so nothing to mop up. The peshwari nan was very sweet and quite unlike any other I have ever had (in a bad way). The prawb saag had minute... More

We have used the same recipe for our onion bhajis for 28 years. As a result of their popularity and after a lot of demand for the recipe, we posted the full recipe and a short video of how we make them online. You can find this in the video section of our website. The jhinga saag is NOT a... More

An excellent meal at Anupam tonight. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, busy but not noisy. Very good service and great food. I loved the spinach and prawn dish.

My husband and I frequently visit the Anupam both as a couple and with friends, sometimes 'on spec' but more often booking as it gets very busy. Staff are always welcoming and friendly and will if needs be cater for disability needs. There is never a rush to place your order and, even at the busiest time, no long waits... More

If you are in the area don't miss this restaurant. It's not cheap but you pay for what you get. The food is amazing, they also do a takeaway service so handy if you stay in a caravan in the area like we do often.

This restaurant has been going for some years, and although we hadn't visited for some time, it continues to impress, with good food, good value, and a little leaving present for the ladies.

This is our favourite restaurant for pre-theatre dining. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly and efficient.
