Excellent place to eat, the service was excellent and the food really good. Was included in overnight stay which gave it good VFM. Starters were duck pate and mushroom soup - could not be faulted, mains were roast duck breast and flank of beef which just fell apart mmmmm! Sweets were included too - well worth a visit.

I also went to this hotel on the same day and my Salmon was not cooked shame as our friends who live local love to take us here so would not complain as they like to go here and we would not like to offend them .So hopefully next time things will have improved or we will suggest somewhere else.

Stayed here for 2 nights and one night was dinner bed and breakfast. The menu was excellent, mostly chose from the 'specials'. Cost of meal as per menu for 2 courses was approx £ 25 per head. Very extensive and interesting wine list, definitely not cheap... Our choice was £26 a bottle and was fabulous.

Enjoyed a pleasant meal at lunchtime. Food was good - shame about the stingy portion of chips. Staff were pushy, didn't give us much time to choose and kept coming back to check if we were ready.

The buffet lunch at the Evesham hotel is always excellent and good value if you have a big appetite. The dining room is lovely and bright with big windows looking out onto the garden. The staff are friendly and efficient.

We loved this hotel from the moment we arrived, the service and welcome is amazing, we found the food very good too. I would recommend it to anybody.. its not a run of the mill hotel like the big chains - its very personal and a brilliant experience.

None of the six people who ate here on the day of our visit were local, but one couple had a friend who gave us some insider information before our arrival at the Evesham Hotel. One piece of advice, ask to see the wine list, it consists of 5 volumes (however there are few French or German wines on the... More

I am still in shock at the despicable reception my partner and I received going for lunch in this hotel. My partner is French which the owner picked up on straight away then proceeded to make jokes about the French. At first we laughed at his initial joke out of politeness, however he went and fetched a book entitled "I... More

If you like to feel wanted at a restaurant then PLEASE don't visit here, the owner is damm right rude and needs to learn some manners, avoid at all costs!!
