It was our first trip to Broadway and after having a look around the lovely shops and a stroll in the park with my children I was really taken by it all! The place reminded me a little but like "Stow" which we visit a lot. We eventually worked up an appetite and noticed a lovely looking pub and could... More

Called in after a long walk into this busy pub, had to wait to be served which was fine. there were 14 of us so naturally it was a large order of drinks but after changing the gas on the bitter the landlord (?) Started moaning that with such a large order messed everything up! When we asked for chips... More

Sometime ago, I ate the most delicious tomato and basil soup for lunch in the Horse and Hounds and the memory stayed with me. Once again whilst working locally, I decided to call in for lunch and joy of all joys, the tomato and basil soup was on the menu. To go with the soup, rather than bread, I had... More

I'd quite literally popped in for a quick drink before setting off home and waited at the bar for 10 minutes before being served. I was ignored and finally got quite annoyed when the bar girl went to serve someone else in front of me. For a lunchtime, to be so understaffed is totally unacceptable. For the short time I... More

Popped in for lunch today while visiting Broadway. There's no end of choice for food in this lovely village but we weren't disappointed with The Horse and Hound: we both had burgers and both of them (one lamb, one beef) were really good, and the ale was spot on and clearly well kept. The landlord was a nice welcoming and... More

The steak and ale pie was wonderful. My son enjoyed his salmon, and of course, Guinness. Service was a little slow, and as there were not many people in there at that time, not understandable. But we could walk from our B&B, so that was definitely a plus.

We eat here one night every time we go the Cotswolds on our weeklong holiday and we have only good things to say. Ok, the tables are a little sticky, but the food is good and the staff is lovely. The atmosphere is good, too.

Visiting Broadway we'd managed to see one side of the High St. by lunchtime & were reluctant to walk back where there were more places. We're glad we didn't. A proper pub with really good food. We went for homemade things from the specials board, along with proper beer, well kept, in a lovely room (the non-sports bar as my... More

We arrived in Broadway having spent a wonderful special time in the Cotswold with my sister her husband and our disabled son. Our ambition was to see the World Cup final and have a few drinks. The bar was closed at 6pm. We were told that a staff member was sick and the owners would be a long. When the... More
