I went here for lunch with my team from work, as a one off treat to get away from the office and into the countryside. We did a 4 mile walk around village of Snowshill first, following by a good old fashioned pub lunch. It was great, really enjoyed it and will be going back soon. The village itself is... More

Really friendly locals pub serving very good Donnington ales, all the food appears to be home cooked on site, excellent food at very sensible prices (especially for the Cotswolds) I had faggots with chips and mushy peas, yummy, and my wife had an excellent steak with all the trimmings, we would recommend this pub very good value in proper pub... Excellent location in particular for families with children on a nice day as there is a great play area. Good beers (Donnington) and ok fish and chips which were a bit greasy and a not so great batter. Slightly messy patio area and surrounded by cars - a little bit of TLC and slightly more effort to produce quality food... More

I often wonder about the other people who review places on this site and this is certainly one of those occasions. I visited this pub based on the other reviews; my god, I wish I hadn't! I should have listened to my instinct when I arrived here - it looks like a tired working men's club. I'm not averse to... More

Visit at lunch time. Had typical pub food which proved to be nicely cooked and nicely presented (for a pub). Have used this pub on and off for many years and it has always been good. Could be due to the fact that it has been in the same family for at least 40 years. The beer and wines are... More

Clean, quaint, charming pub in the picturesque parish of Snowshill. Authentic pub food, very good and reasonably priced. Friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again. Steak and kidney pie & Faggots were very good.

We stayed in a holiday cottage in the village of Snowshill for the week of Cheltenham races and we were made very welcome by both the landlord and his sister Izzy (who kindly ran us into Broadway on the Tuesday evening and then came back later to pick us up). Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff and... More

If you are new to the Cotswolds and looking for a "typical" Cotswolds pub in a "typical" Cotswolds village then this is the right place. Snowshill is a very quiet and fairly remote place with the added bonus of the National Trust Snowshill Manor which is a must-see if you fancy something out of the ordinary. I concur with the... More
