Great walk destination

Typical cosy Cotswold pub and a good morning's walking destination from Stanton or Buckland (2-2.5 hours depending on conditions). Walkers welcome (tap and hose outside for boot cleaning) and good solid pub food rather than bistropub fare.

Stayed locally and ate at this village pub on a sub zero January evening. Contrast that with the warm welcome by Elaine at the bar who showed us to a table alongside a glowing log fire and left us to choose from the menu, containing many of our favorite dishes. Ordering our food I was aware of the friendliness of... More

Friendly locals and a reasonably priced typical pub fare menu make this an excellent authentic experience.

This is a pub, not to be confused with a restaurant, which was recommended by a local. Took my relations for Sunday lunch a week before Christmas. Lovely people serving us but the turkey had never seen a farmyard I think. Processed and tasteless everything else was fine, great place if you like chips( I don't)

Stopped off here for a pub lunch half way around a dog walk. Perfect for walkers, dogs welcome in the bar, lovely service and good pub food.

The pub was packed solid with Christmas Lunch Party and we ate in the skittles barn. Although the atmosphere in the skittles bar was not as good as in the cozy pub we still had excellent friendly service. The food was presented well and was served hot. The staff were friendly and obliging. Would recommend.

Its been a while since we visited the Snowshill Arms. We chose a Saturday lunch to celebrate our 21st Wedding anniversary. We used to go to the Snowshill before we were married. The place hasn't changed. Warm, friendly and with a great atmosphere. We were met by a very pleasant lady behind the bar. She recommended the Donnington Brewery Cotswold... More

This is a jewel in Snowshill crown. It was the location of a Bridget Jones film, the pub being opposite the church where the filming was done in the snow. The pub does really good food and with a log fire burning makes you feel warm and cosy. It has a big car park to the rear and the views... More
