The manager was very attentive. All waiting staff were well motivated. Very nice ambiance. Had Whitebait for starter's nice portion and well presented. My partner had Muscles for a main course These were delicious and served with granary bread. I had Haddock Chorizo and White Bean Stew. This was a little dissapointing, their was a lack of flavour, the Chorizo was... More

We recent enjoyed a lovely Mother's Day Sunday Lunch at the Bel & Dragon in Windsor. The staff were superb, especially making sure that our 6 month old son was happy! The food was great - we shared squid to start and both had rib of beef for the main. Great gastro pub!

I've lived in Windsor for more than 8 years so am pretty well-versed in local eateries. Bel & the Dragon really is a gem. I'm big on atmosphere, lighting and setting as well as fabulous food and this place ticks all the boxes, For visitors who don't know Windsor, it's well located - close to both Riverside and Central stations,... We had afternoon tea here on the weekend. The restaurant is very cute and the food was good quality, not to mention exceptionally good value for money! Afternoon tea is £13 and can be shared between two. The scones were warm out of the oven when they arrived! Even though it's really popular, the restaurant didn't feel busy and crowded.... More

Nice setting. Tremendous food and charming service. House wine comes in a big bottle and you only pay for what you take. Nice touch, although you have to drink it out of a toothmug (not quite true, trendy tumbler-style glasses). Cashel blue soaked in port is an abomination and a complete waste of both, otherwise everything is thoroughly recommended.

Helpful, friendly, good wine, great food, ancient building, cosy atmos. For starters we had scallops, squid, whitebait, prawn salad and asparagus. Big portions meant I was allowed to try everyone's seafood. Really great. For mains we had steak, lamb, chicken, pork. Crackling was crispy (1st test) medium steak was medium! (2nd test). Everyone happy. Only criticism was roast spuds were... More

Booked a table for 4 here on a Saturday night & had a superb evening. The staff were just spot on with the service, the wine was just right & the beef on the bone, well stunning. Superb tastes. To full for a 'pudding'. The atmosphere is very good, although it can feel a little cramped at times.

Sunday lunch for four at an untried venue. Greeted by very friendly staff and given a choice of seating. Good choice menu. Roast fore rib of beef and trimmings - simply outstanding! With prompt service ,we all had our meat cooked slightly different and it was spot on. Our waiter was extremely polite and attentive. Drinks were slightly pricey but... More

This was one of my favorite dining experiences in Windsor. The concierge at our hotel was able to get us a last-minute reservation, and we were so grateful. The atmosphere was both classy and casual, and it felt like a pub with upscale meal options. I had a seafood stew, and it was excellent. The dessert - traditional Eaton mess... More

We were lucky enough to be able to book a table here at short notice, and I think all 7 of us enjoyed our meal and the experience very much. We were meeting up with friends visiting the Uk from mainland Europe, and took Tripadvisor's advice as this being a good place to eat. While it was very pleasant and... More
