You'll find The Alma just 5 minutes walk from Windsor town centre tucked away on a charming Victorian red brick terraced lined street. We are a traditional English pub serving a range of beers, ales, fine wines and great food....The size of our portions are legendary. We also have the largest beer garden in Windsor, great for those hot summer days and evenings, should we see them! We are conveniently located for Heathrow, the M4 and the M25. The Alma is full of antiques and collectable's including: furniture, paintings, pictures, mirrors, ceramics and interesting knick-knacks We also have a collection of rare film posters and are constantly adding interesting and unusual items to The Alma. It's like pubs used to be and, in our opinion, should be.

Great little pub

A cute little pub with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. We went for dinner last night and were not disappointed. The portions were big and the food was fresh and tasted great. They also had a good selection of red wine (I recommend the Malbec). The only difficulty is there's no parking. There... read more

After reading the reviews on here I decided to check out the alma and it didn't disappoint! The food is delicious and lots of it! The young barman, Olly, was so polite dealt with all our needs without any hassle. So nice to have such mannerly staff!

We visited here purely based on trip advisor recommendations. We were staying in the holiday inn express and this pub is just a few walks away. We had reserved a table but it was quite quiet. The fish and chips and scampi were both faultless, however the kids meal arrived as fish fingers, we had selected fish pieces so we... More

Great local pub, full of charm and friendly staff. I can't comment on the beer but the house wine is lovely, and I have fallen into the habit of just having the chip tower when eating there because the chips are SO good. Enjoy pub quiz on a Thursday :)

We meet friends here once a month for Sunday lunch. Always very friendly service. The food is excellent and lots of it. The quirky antique items are interesting and can be purchased. It is our regular meeting place for more than a year now. This is the first time that we have review it. We like the atmosphere, the friendly... More

Enjoying a beautiful relaxing weekend away when we stumbled across The Alma. Looked at the reviews and decided we must try. Walked in to be welcomed by a gentleman soon to be introduced as Owen. Charming, exceptionally warming and hospitable bar man. As a new Alma customer, it was Owen's warmth that drew us to stay. Glad we did. Good... More

This pub is a bit out of the way, but worth finding. The service is good, the food is lovely (massive portions), I enjoy the wines they have on offer - which is rare for a pub. I would recommend for sure.

Hi simpo2, Thank you for you review, we enjoy the wines too! hicup! Our supplier works very hard to get a great range and has been known to even do a tasting session on occasion if you are interested in joining our next one....... We even did a Wine and Cheese evening a few weeks back, yum yum!! Thank you... More
