You'll find The Alma just 5 minutes walk from Windsor town centre tucked away on a charming Victorian red brick terraced lined street. We are a traditional English pub serving a range of beers, ales, fine wines and great food....The size of our portions are legendary. We also have the largest beer garden in Windsor, great for those hot summer days and evenings, should we see them! We are conveniently located for Heathrow, the M4 and the M25. The Alma is full of antiques and collectable's including: furniture, paintings, pictures, mirrors, ceramics and interesting knick-knacks We also have a collection of rare film posters and are constantly adding interesting and unusual items to The Alma. It's like pubs used to be and, in our opinion, should be.

This pub is a bit out of the way, but worth finding. The service is good, the food is lovely (massive portions), I enjoy the wines they have on offer - which is rare for a pub. I would recommend for sure.

First we used to live in the UK and had been looking for a good beer all week! We found it here! Not only did they have good beer but also good food. Above all EVERYONE was so nice! We only wish we had found it sooner! Great people, good beer and HUGE portions! It is a neighborhood pub that... More

Passing through Windsor after visiing some friends and had a couple of hours to spare on a Sunday afternoon, so I thought I take up a recommendation to try out an "Alma Roast"! Certainly glad I did!! Enough on the plate to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites and good quality as well. Washed it down with a nice House... More

Have previously been here a few times and have enjoyed the food. This time I visited with friends on a Friday afternoon to enjoy the sunshine in their lovely garden. Ordered the Camembert for a starter - lovely however I do question why pepper and carrot were served with it, not something I've had with cheese before! Ordered the Alma... More

Our camembert comes with the crudités' to dip in the lovely garlic gooey cheese, carrots and peppers being a popular choice when we did our cook offs for the menu, hope you did try them, they are lovely! Had to wait ages for food. When it arrived: burger was dry; chips were over-seasoned. No competition for restaurants in town.

Hi SPB05, Thanks for giving us a go, but I assure you we do not try and compete with places in town or a restaurant, we pride ourselves on being a good honest local pub with great pub food! As you may have read in my other responses we have a very small kitchen and a great local customer base... More
