Description: You'll find The Alma just 5 minutes walk from Windsor town centre tucked away on a charming Victorian red brick terraced lined street. We are a traditional English pub serving a range of beers, ales, fine wines and great food....the size of our portions are legendary. We also have the largest beer garden in Windsor, great for those hot summer days and evenings, should we see them! We are conveniently located for Heathrow, the M4 and the M25. The Alma is full of antiques and collectable's including: furniture, paintings, pictures, mirrors, ceramics and interesting knick-knacks We also have a collection of rare film posters and are constantly adding interesting and unusual items to The Alma. It's like pubs used to be and, in our opinion, should be.

There aren't many decent pubs in Windsor, fortunately the Alma is more than decent. Excellent beer selection, fantastic atmosphere and the food was great. Staff really effective and friendly. Had a fab Friday night there with a group of girlfriends.

Friends took me to he Alma yesterday. We had lunch which I can only describe as the best Sunday roast I have had In a very long time. The place is quirky and has a really chilled out feeling and Owen behind the bar helps keep it that way with his welcoming manner and friendly personality. Its the perfect place... More

Quaint pub in Windsor with a retro like feel. The Sunday roasts are one one of the biggest sized servings I have come across.

Our friends took us to the Alma for late lunch and I have to say I was so impressed with the quality of the food and what a great little pub, has so much nostalgic pub charm, a nice friendly atmosphere and even the little pub terrier wandering around just added to this pubs charm. we had Sunday lunch and... Needed somewhere to meet up with my sister half way between us and did a Trip Advisor search - was a little suspicious as we pulled up to this 'back street pub'. However, we were glad that we trusted the reviews and tried The Alma out. The welcome was friendly and warm. It was explained that there might be a... More

I was not expecting a lot as in Windsor we have a lot of pubs, some good, some bad. We felt very looked-after and the atmosphere for Sunday lunch was excellent. The food also was great and there was less of the stuffiness of other establishments. All in all, a great place to bring your family, good food and value... More

A good residential pub where food is piled high. However,.... The toilets were beyond dirty -despite arriving as the pub opened they clearly had not seen bleach, a duster or a cleaning cloth within the last week. The pub welcomes dogs, to the extent that at least 6 were off leads and running around like it was their own home.... More

This place is amazing. We heard about it from a friend that said the food was great. After living in Windsor for eight years we did not know about this public house, big loss for us. We called in on the off chance of a meal on a Saturday afternoon. All I can say is wow. Welcome great, staff lovely... More
