Very good Italian meal, kids menu came with huge pizza, had to pay extra for an ice cream though. Seafood tagliatelle was full of juicy mussels and prawns, Caesar salad was huge. House red was 19 quid. Would recommend above pizza express and prezzo chains for location, esp if you can sit out. Would... read more

Visited Castellos while we were looking around Windsor. We popped in for lunch. We sat outside on a lovely sunny afternoon. The young waitress was friendly and attentive. The Pinot Grigio was good quality. We both ordered pasta. It was fresh and cooked to perfection. One of the best Italian restaurants we've been to. As we are moving to the... More

This is a lovely 16th century building in a great central location. Unfortunately it was a cold March evening when we visited and the door opened onto our table. There was a shared spotlight in the ceiling for our table and the table of four under the specials board. The waitress had to adjust this according to which table needed... More

Is a 1600's house, amazing place and the food is exquisite. The "Sofia Chicken" was my favorite. The service is very kind.

I visited this restaurant last night during a weekend break in Windsor. Food was fab. We had salmon with roasted veg and new potatoes followe by profiteroles. Service was great even though IT was very busy. We had a bottle of savinagon blanc which was reasonably priced at £20

First time at the restaurant. Food was and service was great. Do yourself a favour and give it a try. Can't wait to come back in summer and get a table outside.

I visited this restaurant with a group of friends 8 in total. after reading some good reviews and was really looking forward to our visit. On booking I was told a deposit of £5.00 per person was required on groups of 8 and would be deducted from the bill on the night. I therefore paid £40.00 deposit. On arrival we... More

Rustic setting - service with a smile. Good for couples but also families. We went yesterday and ate very well. The portions were generous and the quality of food was very good. Overall, a great experience and we will be returning soon!

First visit, so no prior knowledge. Online booking service didn't seem to work, so rang them to book table. On arrival we thought cosy place, warm, very friendly staff. The menu arrived & we realised it was so dark in there we could not read the menu, so I had to get up & find some light. The Specials board... More

I went to Castello's yesterday with two friends, my daughter and two year old granddaughter. I couldn't fault the restaurant - the waiter was very helpful & friendly, it had a happy relaxed atmosphere (made even more atmospheric due to the age of the building!), the choice & quality of food was excellent and reasonably priced (including the children's menu)....
