All time favourite Indian - best in the area and would give most places further afield a run for their money!

Got a take away and food ok, for some reason a lot of onion. Over £3 for rice expensive.... will not be going here again, quality and price a factor for this.

Always excellent food cooked to perfection. Wide choice of starters and mains to suit all. Relaxed atmosphere and very good service.

Fast service. Delicious food. Friendly staff. you do have to pick up the food yourself but it is well worth it! Perhaps too much sugar in the korma?

Being an india food lover, the UK is in general a good country to find a lot. In maidenhead i finally found the best india to have a good business meal. The service is great and food excellent, just select some menu items and share, you will be always happy!

I have dined at this restaurant many times and enjoyed the experience. However on this occasion I took my mother for her 91st birthday as well as family members. After 10 minutes we had to ask for drinks menu, then we had to ask for the food menu. Our drinks were brought and thumped on the table, the waiter was... More

We ate here with some friends last week and it was an excellent meal. Mine turned out to be a bit hot for me but still ate it after the waiter kindly brought me some yoghurt to cool it down. His face was a picture when I dolloped a whole load of it on my plate. Service was up to... More

I have been working in the area and was looking for a good Indian Restaurant for an evening meal. I googled this one and arrived without a reservation. The were incerdibly busy for a Tuesday night but I was shown to my table and made to feel as though I was their only customer. I had Chicken Chaat to start... More

My husband moved to the area about a year ago and discovered this fantastic restaurant very shortly after that, thank goodness! We have tried several of the other less expensive Indian restaurants nearby and yet we keep coming back to the Emperor, and bringing our friends here. Yes, the prices are high, but soooo worth it. We often eat in... More

First of let me say if you are looking for cheap bog standard boil in the bag style curry, you probably shouldnt eat here. The food here is slightly more expensive then you might pay for a Friday night Korma but the quality is fantastic. For the comments that the portions are too small... not everyone wants to go for...
