Dependably sumptuous Indian cuisine!

I have been with family to this restaurant several times before. It is always a delicious treat, with the staff making you feel welcome and comfortable. Probably the best restaurant I've been to in Maidenhead so far!

Was taken here by my son for Mother's Day.............from the second we sat down.....it was like we had to be out ASAP......although the restaurant had 12 people dining ....including ourselves.......food has always been amazing here.......haven't been for a while.....and was very disappointed with the waiting staff.........when the bill arrived.......we had a 10% service charge......don't like this forced upon us.....if we... Meet friends here last Thursday for dinner, it was excellent! The service and staff are great, they are very attentive but not an "in your face" way. You are not hurried, to order, to eat or to leave, it really is wonderfully relaxing. I had garlic fried prawns to start, delicious, followed by King Prawn Bengal, again delicious and the... More

Arrived here last night (Saturday) at 7.30 and reassuring to see that the car park was nearly full! We were welcomed by the owner and he and his staff were attentive and helpful throughout the evening. We were a party of eight and everyone was very pleased with their meal. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the prices... More

Went to the Sunday buffet and booked for1.30. On arrival told we would have to wait for buffet to be ready, and they would tell us. No one did so we asked and told we could go and although food nice had to keep going back for dishes that had not been replaced. Not the way I wanted to have... More

We had not been for a while to the Sunday lunch buffet and the experience was nothing spectacular. We arrived just before 1pm and were told to wait while a table was prepared - even though there were only 2 people in the restaurant at the time. We had to wait before we were allowed up to the buffet to... More

Took my two sons Christmas Eve as a treat. We have been before and as before the food was fantastic! The service was excellent, we were very well looked after. It is on the pricey side for me and that's the only reason I have scored one down on price.. It's more of a special treat to go there -... More

We have been to the Emperor on many occasions over the past few years, as a couple, with family, with friends, both on impulse and by arrangement. I would not consider going anywhere else now for an Indian meal! The staff and service are wonderful, the food is even better, the tandoori dishes are particularly delicious. The staff always put... Whilst we enjoyed our meal it was we thought expensive and we were ignored as compared with the locals. We chose to share three dishes and a vegetable. The dishes - One excellent one good and one poor. The veg was poor. Service average. We probably would not visit again.
