Good "old fashioned" Italian restaurant

While visiting Salisbury last week we were recommended to this place by friends who live there. Its in the city centre but not easy to find, however it is well worth the effort . Other reviewers have said its "old fashioned" ( indeed it is) and in need of a revamp ( which it isn't!) .. personally... read more

We've been eating here for years and our latest trip was no exception to our previous fantastic experiences! Delicious authentic food, friendly staff, and fantastic prices. Counting the days until we go back again - we recommend it to everyone!

Have dined here for many years, used to really like it, but have not been recently. Went in January 2015 for the first time in ages and I don't think this restaurant has changed in a least 20 years (nor have the toilets!). Food was average, (though seeing your desert come out in little plastic wrap bags, opened on the... More

An unusual restaurant in that you go up one flight of stairs to the bar area where you contemplate the menu, then another flight to get to the restaurant. It is actually an old warehouse and the top floor restaurant is bright and roomy with a good ambience. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced and the flavours are good... More

A great little restaurant, food was lovely (even the frogs legs). Great family feel to the place and top service. Can't wait to go back

Came in here for dinner. The service is always good. I had the cheesey garlic bread to start which was swimming in garlic butter and covered in garlic, loved it, was hot and delicious. Pizza was also very good. Had their Bomb dessert which was meringue with cream and chocolate, not like a normal meringue pudding, this thing is special.... More

Me and my wife went to this restaurant last week for the first time now the only time, this is the worst restaurant we have ever been to. We both had carbonara which is our favourite, we brought it off the lunch time menu. The sauce must have been made from the cheapest most unflavoured packet white sauce ever, the... More

Have been coming here for a number of years and have never been disappointed. The food is some of the best Italian food I have ever had, including those in Italy. We'll be back again soon Giuseppe and look forward to the wonderful food, service and ambiance.

This place has seen better days and is very tired..none of the staff were Italian and there was no warmth the service...the food was average and they got our order wrong....my main was anaemic looking pasta linguine which was not pleasant at all and I ended up eating my friends pizza...the waitress conveyed my thoughts to the chef then told... We saw the sign to this restaurant-there's not much else to see from the road besides the door. But upstairs is a roomy restaurant. We were there for lunch so were able to order the lunch special which was very well priced. We ordered simple meals-pasta which came with an Italian garlic bread, and pizza which came with salad. The... More
