Very friendly!!

Just a few words to say that our visit to this pub was an enjoyable experience. The food was very good and the staff friendly. It was great to sit down in a pub with a lovely atmosphere and enjoy the pie and pint! Well done!

Took my wife, daughter and a mate from the USA. Car park on the door step so very handy. Central in town if you wanted to move onto somewhere else. The outside is very old fashioned and looks really nice, we like that sort of building. Inside is small but very cosy. The staff were extremely friendly and customer service... More

Go and visit the pheasant inn just outside the centre of Salisbury, (on salt lane) for a cosy atmosphere and delicious food!

This pub has just been refurbished, is under new management and is just what salisbury needs in the city centre. Its a cosy, traditional pub with friendly staff, quality wine at affordable prices, a wide range of real ales and good food. We had booked dinner at a nearby restaurant and popped in for a quick drink and to check... More

Quite a disappointing meal. Very small portion served. Staff very friendly, and service was good. Drinks good , and restuarant cosy and warm.

We were a group of 6 for a work dinner at The Pheasant which had come highly recommended. We had booked, and some of the party were late however the staff didn't mind in the slightest. Food was delicious - steak was amazing and a great peppercorn sauce. One diner wasn't a fan of the deep fried gherkins however I... More

Before Christmas two ladies came into my workplace with menus for The Pheasant, I feel very guilty that I didn't visit sooner. I went with Dad for one of our regular Sunday get togethers and what a warm welcome. The pub has been tastefully decorated and on a cold rainy winters day it was a superb, cosy place for some... On a damp very cold day we found a warm, very welcoming atmosphere. Pleasant and efficient service, and good food with hot plates. Good choice of beers and , if preferred, glasses with handles were available. More than fills the gap left by the closure of the Coach and Horses. There is background music but unobtrusive and good listening.

We visited the Pheasant last night. This is the second time we have been since it re-opened after refurbishment. On both occasions we had a very friendly welcome from Matthew who looked after us very well. The menu is interesting and the food is very good and served on warm plates. On both occasions I asked for some tap water... More
