Lovely lunch

We visited the pub today with friends. I ordered a large glass of white wine and was shocked to hear that they only had Chardonnay! After a discussion with the barman he informed me that they had only been there for five days. From what I understand they are the second landlords in six weeks. They... read more

An absolutely stunning view of the river from the garden, wonderful food and friendly staff. I had the rump steak which was cooked perfectly. Prices for main courses range from about £13 to £20, definitely worth a visit.

What a difference a week makes! Visited our local, The Bridge Inn, for the first time under new ownership. So pleased to see this country pub returned to just that, a country pub. Good food and really pleasant staff. Great to see the TV and fruit machine have disappeared. Wish you every success.

I visited the Bridge Inn on 30th June, such a wonderful location, very friendly staff, and lovely Landlady, Kelly, food was wonderful, so peaceful sitting watching the river Avon and the ducks wonder past.

Visited on the day it re-opened under new management (27/06/2015). Very friendly and helpful staff, even if still finding their feet. Absolutely great food and drink. The pictures can't do the surroundings justice, what a view! Would definitely recommend and visit again myself. 5/5

We called in here, as we used to live a couple of doors down the road from it. This has always been a lovely pub where people come from a far, as we did on this occasion, we had heard it had re opened so thought give it a go. Sadly it's nothing special. We had mains and dessert, which... More

Dear Matharoonie, I am sorry to hear you had such a disappointing experience at The Bridge Inn when you visited in March. The pub is now under new management and we reopened on Saturday 27 June. It would be lovely if you would visit us again as we are sure you will have a much better experience than on your... More

We had a very nice lunch and a pint each. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the meal was reasonably priced.

Having recently reopened, we decided to give it a try.......big mistake! We waited over an hour for food, which was promptly sent back. We decided not to reorder! We witnessed the worst behaviour possible from a landlord......he was squaring up to a paying customer for no reason whatsoever. Great customer service!!!!! Hopefully the new prospective owners will be more suited... More

Myself and 5 friends visited for a few drinks and meal thinking it would be good to try as it has new owners and remembered reading a write up about the re-opening, stating they would be bringing back pub classics and specials all created from fresh locally sourced produce. The food was awful and not locally sourced. The burgers did... More

Second visit last night. First was just after it reopened, it wasn't great but we thought we would give it another try. One bitter was off the other was flat and had to be sent back. Third was nothing fantastic and £9:80 for two pints is pricey for wiltshire. Food was not great. Server did not know menu. My son's... More
