... positively endangered. Four of us stopped for a late lunch bite on Tuesday 24 June after a visit to nearby Stonehenge. I had driven past many times and admired the riverside garden - so decided it was time to give it a try. Three of us ordered the GBP 9.95 ciabatta and chips (gourmet) sandwiches. We all got an... We lunched here on Tuesday of this week. It was a glorious day and we sat outside by the river watching the ducks, swans, and dragonflies on the river. Disappointed with the chicken Caesar wraps... Very little chicken, mostly lettuce and tomato. Herb chips were lovely though. Daughter enjoyed her smoked salmon and 'watercress' focaccia (although watercress turned out to... More

We passed by the Bridge Inn during our walk from Salisbury to Stonehenge. The pub seems crowded with cyclist, hikers and families. The staff was super friendly, caring and the food was perfect. Definitely a well remembered place during our trip and we were happy that they were able to serve us timely, because we only planned one hour for... More

The location is great, especially on a summers evening sat by the river watching the ducks and swans. However the food is well over priced for just average food and although not rude the staff do not go out of their way to be friendly either

I have had good experiences at the Bridge Inn before but on bank holiday Monday lunchtime two of us arrived on spec. Expecting it to be hit and miss we thought we might just have a drink or two. When the bar cleared and I was told by the bar staff they were busy taking orders for food which they... More

Thank you for your feedback, we value your views to improve our business. Monday bank holidays are always very hectic, especially on a sunny day! Mayday Monday was no exception and we were fully booked as well as a heavy passing trade due to the delightful weather. I would strongly recommend you attempt to book a table with us in... More

The Bridge Inn keeps its 6x and Summer Lighting really well, bright clear and fresh. The food is excellent too, fish and chip Fridays are highly recommended. The menu is varied and service excellent. We visited twice in the same day!. Advanced coffee machine delivers excellent coffee too. Restored my faith in Pubs capable of doing both good food and... More

Leaving Stonehenge and on our way to Salisbury we asked a local tour guide if he recommended a good Country pub and he recommended the Bridge Inn. After receiving directions we arrived 20 minutes later. The Bridge Inn is positioned opposite a river, and would you believe, a small stone bridge. It is a very picturesque setting, however it was... Having found the Bridge via Internet searches where the place was well recomended I was glad to find that it lived up to the reputation. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We were there with a family group including two young children and they were well recieved and looked after. I imagine the Bridge would be... More

We got lost on the way back from Stonehenge, the wife was directing!!! and found this place by chance. It was so good I had to write a review before I went too bed, after finally finding our way back to London. A great warm welcome on a freezing cold night, fabulous food, I especially loved the wood pigeon starter... More
