Greengages is one of my mum's favourites especially since she hates the bit chain cafes. Prices are reasonable, coffee is great and the staff are lovely. Just stay away from the rather disappointing 'courgette and lime' cake. There are some thing you really don't want to find in a cake and I now realise that courgette might be one of... More

Lovely meal - vege brekkie which is one of the best I have had and the fish and chips my son had was perfectly cooked. Top marks to the owner who went out of his way to make us feel welcome, even on a day when the cafe was filled to capacity. We will be back - that is for... More

With 3 generations in the family group and different requirements of what to eat at lunchtime, this place certainly provided a good choice along with excellent service. Liked the atmosphere of the place, seemingly catering both for locals and visitors to this tourist city. Food was delicious, portion sizes just right, staff friendly and helpful.

Me and some friends visited on a Saturday for lunch. Really nice selection of alcohol if you fancy a tipple! I had Summer Lightning which is a local ale. Also had bean chilli jacket potato. Very nice tasting and fresh ingredients. Jacket was floury and delicious. Staff attentive. Service quick even though busy. Lots of seating although it was a... More

Excellent cafe with great meal choices. the food is so fresh and delicious. The owner deserves praise for his untiring (& successful) efforts to please....nothing is too much trouble and you feel valued as a customer. This cafe has now become an essential part of our visits to Salisbury!

My husband treated me to breakfast this morning after our midwife check up. This pregnant lady has a penchant for plain scones and there were fruit or cheese on offer. We stayed and had the most amazing tea (chai tea and gunpowder green tea- both loose leaf) which calmed and relaxed us both greatly :) We ordered French toast with... More

Our family has half veg, half meat-eating members, and we all loved our full English breakfasts at Greengages. The vegetarian option is a delight, with vegetarian sausage (such a rare treat in a restaurant). The owner sources his own coffee and oversees the roasting from a local source. Had the BEST decaf I've ever tasted, and he even sold us... More

Tasty food made with high quality ingredients. Liked the non typical options , e.g roasted vegetable and feta baguette. Tea is served as leaves with a strainer rather than a bag. Good atmosphere; perfect place to relax or sit chatting with friends. Excellent service.

If you require gluten free food - this is the place! Scones and cakes were unreal - deeeelicious! Staff really nice and cafe was very clean and trendy. Prices not too bad! Was a great experience for my wife and I there coming from Belfast for a holiday! Well worth a visit!
