Anniversary

We visited at 5pm on a Sunday for our anniversary. This was our first visit and I am sure we will be back. The restaurant has been tastefully renovated from the old post office, but you still get a feel of how it might have been. There is a nice bar area if you prefer a pre-dinner drink, but... read more

The food was very tasty however the service was really rushed. We were sat near the bar area which was very noisy and we couldn't hear ourselves talk. The server spoke so fast we had to ask her to repeat herself many times. The specials card was handed to us and we were just told there was no Seabass and... More

A friend and I had drinks and dinner here on a Wednesday evening. It was a lovely evening but the outdoor area was full so we sat inside. The waiting staff were very attentive even though it got incredibly busy. The best thing I like about this place is the atmosphere. It feels busy but the tables are laid out... More

Great location and atmosphere, good service and we all loved our food. The range of cocktails was good too - they took a while to come, but were worth the wait. A little pricey, but we'd definitely come again.

Went here for a girlie evening meal and cocktails - lovely. Can recommend Mashtini and Bramble! Almost count as 1 of your 5 a day..... I liked the look of the wine list - quite extensive. Would like to work my way through this some day. The food was good - not exceptional. I had smoked salmon - came with... More

We booked a table for Lunch on a beautiful sunny Saturday what a lovely experience from start to finish the scallops starters and beef caparccio was excellent. We all had three different steaks which were cooked to perfection, my fillet steak on a hash brown with a peppercorn sauce was perfection in itself. The stcky chocolate pudding , and rhubarb... We reserved a table for 5.30 as we were going to see Paloma Faith at the arena and a good job we did. The place was packed and they were turning people away! Felt under dressed as others were done up to the nines!! Enjoyed the sharing Asian starter, rib eye steaks, one with fries and the other salad. Shared... More

The food was really pretty good but the service was poor. They took time to bring us menus. They took time to take our drinks order. The 'specials' choices were blurted out at speed and with little interest being shown. In what is a noisy restaurant the 'specials' had to be repeated to most of the party of 7. We... More

I felt there was room to improve the food, give more vibrancy and just a bit more for your money. I really like the venue and the staff were nice too. I would go back and try something else on the menu. Overall I enjoyed my visit here
