Went for xmas meal ...excellent service and food. Cocktails good but overpriced. As long as you go with the attitude of not saving money it is brilliant. Bar area tends to become overcongested but overall it is a great experience.

The Christmas party season is not usually the best time to visit a restaurant and it was with some trepidation that I ventured into Leeds on a busy Friday evening. On arrival, my first thought was that my pessimism was justified. We were hit by a wall of noise; the ground floor was packed and the bar area resembled a... More

I visited the restaurant at 5pm on 10 December 2014. The place was extremely busy with lots of christmas parties. A table for two was found, but unfortunately right next to a party of about 30, but this was the only negative. We both ordered a rump steak, peppercorn sauce with hand cooked chips, plus a bottle of red wine.... More

Excellent location right in City Sq. Our own room due to the size of our party. Great fun and games had by all. 3rd yr in a row for me. One of my favourite venues without sought. Great atmosphere

Food is good... service is excellent but it is one of the most tightly packed Restaurants I've even dined in. If the table next to you order white wine and require an Ice bucket.. go to the loo now because you'll be hemmed in for an hour. We were lucky ... there were four of us.. it was rather tight... I've eaten out at RBG many times in the past and therefore when my family decided to visit Leeds I booked here. Service was brilliant. Food was brilliant. My family thoroughly enjoyed it and I can't wait for my next visit.

Convenient for the railway station facing onto the square with a very pleasant interior. The service is reasonably good but unless you are having the fixed price lunch the prices are premium level for Leeds for relatively average quality fare and certainly not a match for the better quality restaurants in Leeds so the premium is for the surroundings. The... More

We called here yesterday, after a cinema/shopping day, around 5.p.m. Despite it being very busy they managed to find us a table in the restaurant area. The decor in this bar, situated in the old Post Office building, has managed to blend low lighting, mirrors, chrome, glass and wooden floors and furniture with the building' s original features resulting in... I visited Restaurant Bar & Grill with a colleague and a client whom we were meeting for the first time. The location was his suggestion as he works in Leeds and knew we were heading back to London from the station (just over the road) immediately after we concluded our meeting. I thought the name of the venue was inspired... More

This is a splendid conversion of the old Post Office in the centre of Leeds. The large dining room decor is modern, light and airy. Our brunch, for four, came to £65 for 4 x full English's and some croissants and orange juices. Every item was priced, including each cup of coffee. There was nothing special about the breakfasts and,... More
