We had been here a few years ago and had a fantastic meal so being back in Leeds it was our first choice. We couldn't get a table until 10 at night but said that was fine as we had a great first experience. Again the food was fantastic but the service was awful. Our drink order came and they... read more

Went for a mid week lunch with colleagues and had great food and lovely service. Ended up being three courses with wine and it was all fantastic. The lovely thing about this place is the quick and efficient service with no intrusion. The food stands up to its reputation and it is always a good experience. Wine, puddings and specials... More

We were lured back here by the generous inducements of the groups' new loyalty card. We have had mixed experiences over the years and reviews on this site are far from all positive so it was a pleasant surprise to have such a great meal. My sea bass with tikka spices in particular was really good. The menu is broad... More

A group of us from work visited this place on a late Friday afternoon. We enjoyed a couple of drinks in the bar area before eating, and whilst there wasn't much seating for drinkers or lot of elbow rom it was pleasant and a cracking atmosphere. To eat, we were shown to a table upstairs and so enjoyed a little... More

It's lovely they really have made the best of the historic building. The atmosphere is really good but the price of the very average Prosecco is a bit too much. Folks can we all get a grip - Prosecco isn't Champagne so please price accordingly.

Had a meal here, the place was packed with both dinners and those just having a drink, they found us a table straight away even though we had not booked, shown to a table upstairs overlooking the downstairs bar area, staff very good and had drinks ordered straight away, ordered starters and mains, starters came within ten mins and were... We booked as table of 7 late afternoon mid week, so it wasn't very busy. Have to say that unlike other reviews recently we found the food to be very good. A lot of us opted for the steaks and they were delicious. The service was fine - attentive and regularly topping up wine glasses. The ambience is good and... More

This is a pretty decent spot and the food is good. Its a shame they have such obnoxious staff. We didn't have a great experience and our table of over 17 wont be coming back.

We came hear for lunch last Saturday whilst in Leeds. My husband was on crutches & they were most accommodating putting us near the entrance. We ate off the set menu which we thought was good value, both starters & mains were good. Not the best food I have ever eaten but quite sufficient for the price we paid. Gorgeous... More

On a quiet Monday in February we had to ask twice for our drinks and doing so seemed to cause offence to the waiter! How dare we ask twice for drinks we had waited at least ten minutes for, in a near empty restaurant. After that, the waiter just sulked and was rude and surly throughout the rest of the... More
