Alright..

Went to one night and decided we were going to be fat and not worry about what we spent so had the Chateaubriand steak to myself and the missis had a fillet steak. On top of this we had the most expensive starter so as you can imagine the bill came to well over £100. Don't get me wrong the... read more

It has been a good couple of years since we last visited RBG in Leeds. We used to frequent the restaurant most Saturdays but they changed their menu and after a couple of mediocre meals we decided to try elsewhere and simply never went back. Leeds hasn’t welcomed any new higher end restaurants lately, plenty of tapas joints and lots... More

Have been here many times in the past for food and always enjoyed it. The last few visits in the past few weeks for drinks outside has been a bit average. The bar staff are quite slow at serving and didn't get the drinks right. We sat outside where they do have some table service but it isn't frequent and... More

We chose to celebrate our 1st anniversary at the Bar and Grill. We visit regularly for drinks and food during the day and never been disappointed. On an evening the restaurant becomes more romantic and the ambience is great. On our arrival we were given an amazing table and welcomed with a glass of bubbly. The service was impeccable and... Great location and well presented inside and out. Service was good. We wanted something off the daytime menu and they were very obliging and helpful. The only thing I was disappointed in was my cheeseburger...didn't like it on a Brioche it felt wrong and it was not very warm and a bit hard. Overall would I go again...yes but it... More

Impromptu lunch outside on a sunny day. Buzzing atmosphere mix of diners and drinkers. Set menu reasonable value and steak was tasty but overcooked. Salt and pepper squid well executed. Wine good quality. Service very attentive. Reliable as a recommendation.

Sunday lunch with friends. Great atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon, started with a drink at the bar. Unusually for some venues a full menu is available for Sunday Lunch. The two courses for £15 was particularly good value. Haddock risotto was one of the best I've had. The 'sharing' roast beef was however, a little underwhelming. Service was very good... More

This review is for the bar, not the restaurant. It is still the best bar in Leeds despite several new venues opening recently. The location, atmosphere and overall experience make it the place to be seen!
