I was over in Leeds two weeks ago and fancied a good curry without having to travel to Bradford. After checking tripadvisor myself and two friends decided upon Raja's, I have to say the reviews were spot on. Raja's is located in one of the less salubrious part of Leeds, the restaurant decor is basic but spotless and there is... More

"The owner eats here" says the sign on the door.... So here we go - This was our first visit to Raja's, we had read the great reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try... Wow, we were very pleased we did. Four of us had four different dishes and four different starters - this way we got... More

Visited with couple of my friends after a longtime. Some of them vegetarian. All curries we tried were simply brilliant. Perfect blend of spices. Staff was quite attentive and warm. One of the best curries we ever had.

Really nice welcome and quick to take order. Given 2 extra poppadoms because one was broken, which was nice. Starters (chicken livers) really nice. My main course of chicken chilli fry was simply fantastic, and the accompanying naan was spot on too. Would most definitely return given the opportunity. Small downsides were that the staff were very quick to move... More

I visited raja's last night with my family. We have been here many times before and never fail to have a beautiful meal and excellent service! Last night we were involved in a minor car accident en route. I rang the restaurant to tell them we were going to be late and they were fine about it. Raja even offered... More

This is the best Indian restaurant we have ever been to. The food is fantastic we have tried other curry houses but nothing beats this one. We go as often has we can it is well worth the 25minute drive. The staff are very nice and the owner is a lovely man. Give it a go you will not be disappointed.

I often drive past this restaurant often wondering as to what lies behind the entrance doors. I'm a fan of tripadviser and was aware that this restaurant was supposedly in the top 10 restaurants in Leeds. On a weekday evening, whilst driving past, I thought I'd give the place a try... I ate a vegetable samosa starter in the restaurant... More

We visited Rajas ( 28/6/14) on recommendation , we arrived at 6:30 pm to be warmly greeted to our table in a quiet corner . The waiter was very friendly and we quickly ordered 2 large Cobras , the menu offered lots of choice and we settled for starters of Chicken Livers , Onion Bhaji , mains of the Khas... More

Well worth a short journey out of the city centre. The food is stunning. Best Indian cuisine outside of India. The chefs specials are gorgeous. You can also watch them cook as the kitchen is open. The restaurant is a no frills environment & it's like a step back to India in feel. The owner is a lovely friendly &... More

We have been regularly eating at Raj's for several years, and although we have tried many curry houses nowhere comes close to the taste and service we receive here!! Cannot recommend highly enough!! Fresh currys made to your taste with excellent authentic naan breads,...Absolute superb experience!! Try it, the food is the best!!!!
