It's all about a different atmosphere. It's about good food. It's about good service and attention to detail. So no wonder the long-established Sous Le Nez is one of the most acclaimed restaurant and winebars in Leeds. In fact, our award winning basement bar and bistro - in a handy, city centre location - has been providing mouthwatering food to Leeds diners for over 15 years. Our wine list is as unusual as it is extensive, and our lunchtime and evening menus are creative and very popular. And our portions are huge too!

Beautiful food. Wide menu. Very extensive wine list. Superb service. Intimate venue. We were seated in a small corner of the restaurant so felt very romantic and intimate. We were offered the evening set menu and the main a la carte menu. Both quite extensive. We chose from the main a la carte menu. I had Arancini Balls to start... More

What a fantastic restaurant! It's tucked underground in the centre - you could easily walk past it. Cozy authentic atmosphere. Great food. French fayre. The steak was very good as were the scallops. Huge wine choice.

Great service, wonderful food and great decor. We had the three course set meal and it was great value and the steak's sauce was out of this world! Thoroughly recommend.

Whilst on business in Leeds I was taken here by clients and whilst I can not compare it to any other restaurant in the city it was definitely a delightful experience that I would recommend to any person with a taste for good food. I think the best way to summarise would be to say that it is one of... More

Attended with my parents for a pre graduation dinner. We had the early-bird menu, 3 courses and half a bottle of wine each for £26.95. The selection was good, service professional and friendly, and the food was all delicious. Would definitely return when in Leeds, and would recommend this place to everyone.

We had booked a table for 6 people at 6:30pm on a Saturday evening for the Early Bird set menu: Three courses plus a half bottle of house wine, all for £26.95 a head. The food is true French cuisine and in portions not to leave you hungry. A good choice of starters, main courses and desserts. Though we only... More

My wife and I dined here for the first time this week, and we will be heading back soon. Briefly, great menu, very helpful and friendly service, lovely setting and, most importantly, tremendous food. My wife had the cold fish platter to start, which looked and tasted great. She declared her main course of cod in a mushroom sauce to... More

The only good thing I can say is that the service was fast and polite (although fast service is not always a good sign, I'd rather wait longer for better food!). The food was poor for the price you have to pay; for example a 'shareable' cold fish platter for almost £10 consisted of 4 single fish e.g 1 small... More

Service really slow; the cod dish was basically a large piece of cod on a pile of mash with cheese sauce. So disappointing when you could have done better at home. Waited a very long time for them to clear table. No dessert offered, tried to catch waiters several times but eventually gave up. Bill was wrong - overcharged by... More

Hello and thank you for your review. We are disappointed to hear that it was not an enjoyable experience but please allow us to address some of your comments. The main course which you had is served with haddock as stated on the menu, not cod, and has been on our menu since opening in 1991. It is an immensely... More
