Wonderful first (and not last) experience. The food was fantastic, all beautifully presented and very tasty, No way that I would guess, if I didn't already know, that it was prepared by students! We have just returned from Cape Town where the food is amazing, however, the four courses were very impressive. We have eaten here for too long to remember, but thought we should share our experience. We both went for the pigs cheek and ox cheek, both were amazing, although, in retrospect we should have had something lighter as we had... More

The Food academy Leeds is a great restaurant offering fine dining at good prices. I really enjoyed my lunch, it may seem to be too good to be true but you will not be disappointed. The menu is varied and gives the diner an opportunity to try something new. The waiting staff are very friendly, this is a learning environment,... More

Go to the food academy once and you'll be hooked. It's like britains got talent in the audition stages. There's the awkward embarrassing auditions (waiters on their first day) and the spectacular surprises (amazing food). But it's a nice experience and great value.

We went for dinner to the new venue at the Printworks. The meal was £18 for 4 courses. There was a choice of 3 dishes for the starter, main and dessert. It was an interesting experience learning how to serve wine properly. The food was very good, not huge portions, but flavoursome and well cooked and presented.

Me and a few work friends had lunch here. £7 each for 2 courses including coffee - bargin! All food was freshly cooked with quality ingredients. The staff/students were alittle nervous but brilliant value, beautiful, tasty food and an interesting place. Free parking too. I will definitely be returning.

Some people turn their noses up at the thought of 'students' cooking their lunch as apposed to experienced chefs, however, what you need to realise is that these people are being judged on the food quality by assessors so it needs to be of a high standard. It is very reasonably priced and tasted lovely!

Enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea with prosecco in this lovely restaurant. Great looking place with its own art gallery. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. Will be returning in December to experience their Christmas lunch.

Really enjoyed my first visit here today. We had a lovely table at a window. There was a bit of sun coming in. The gallery feel of the place was magnificent. I had a steak sandwich and my partner the field sharing platter (not sure if it was enough for sharing but enough for him as a lunch item). Both... More

Great looking venue the décor and the art is wonderful. We went for lunch today 6/9/13 and found that there were two set of views from this top floor restaurant, one facing the lovely old red brick covered Victorian shopping arcade the other over looking a tatty car park. The restaurant only had a few dinners so getting a table... More
