Just had lunch here today with my cousin. It had been recommended to her by a friend. It is not easy to find - you really have to know about it. The young waitress was very helpful in telling us about the choices and we both enjoyed our taster platters. We didn't feel overfaced and even had room for a... More

Went with mum for Afternoon Tea and we had a lovely time. The tea was delicious and beautifully presented and we even took some cakes home for Dad to enjoy. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We will definitely be back again soon. Thank You.

This is one of our stock favourite venues. The food is inventive and good. Desserts are especially good! I do wish they'd train their staff better: wine glasses should never be more than one-third filled, serve from the right, remember to offer water, don't reach across to serve instead walk around, dress smartly and cleanly, don't speak in slang, make... Absolute rubbish food today. Me and my wife can cook better food anytime. I don't often post negatives but this is crap. Slow service, Poor food and portions to fill at toddler. Keep trying because this is not good enough

My husband and I enjoyed a rare midweek day off together without kids. I remembered seeing a review in the paper a while ago so we decided to give it a try. Oh my goodness how spoilt we felt the restaurant was lovely with good views of the city and the service was really friendly and the food was beautifully... More

We came here after reading about it in trip adviser while in Leeds for the weekend. I read that The Food Academy showcases the College’s most talented trainees and thought it was a great concept to help young people. I was a cold Sunday and the restaurant wasn’t busy, possibly due to weather. The place is clean and very spacious... More

Last visit was fathers day, now it was my birthday. The yorkshire paella was a wonderful variation of a classic dish. The seabass main was excellent. And of course the final was their duck egg and soldiers, a great dessert. Service was good despite sudden lunch time rush. Be aware this restaurant does not produce fast food. It serves good... More
