We had a really good Sunday lunch here the week before last. Really good portions, for kids and adults. Great coli cheese and ice cream included in kids meal. Easily better than the weatherspoons equivalent (although sadly the beer isn't as cheap!). Staff were very friendly and the beer was good. Overall it felt like good value and we left... More

We found the woolpack expensive for a local pub if you compare it with other pubs in the locality the food is average and the menu is the same as every other pub in yeadon

The positive reviews on TA made me think a lunchtime visit was a good idea and we looked forward to going after the "Young at Heart" special lunch deal available 12pm to 3pm Tuesday to Friday had ended. Nothing against budget conscious seniors but I didn't fancy a busy pub as I'd just worked a lot of night shifts and... More

I am yet to eat at The Woolpack; since the pub changed hands I have only been once and the kitchen was not yet open to punters. The bar however, is very well kept, as are the lagers and ales. Really pleasant place to be, the overriding feel being rooted in 'traditional English pub' - with a modern take. Staff... More

We are regulars now - the staff are great - the choice of drinks is very good - we like premium lager and San Miguel is one of the best! The food is fantastic - great price for quality home made food and very large portions. It is becoming extremely popular so I would recommend reserving a table on steak... More

Could not ask for a better local we have eaten here numerous times and never had a bad meal. The menu is lovely and plates are nice and big for the money you pay. Staff are friendly and the decor is very traditional and homely.

I've visited The Woolpack a number of times now and every time it's been a pleasure. The pub itself is very welcoming and has been tastefully decorated with modern décor, but still has a traditional feel. There's a good selection of real ale and lager, which is well kept and I've never had a bad pint at the pub. There's... More

We enjoyed the steak offer last week and decided to try the ordinary menu. My wife had the Cod Mornay - and she was very impressed it was tasty and loaded with juicy cod - she couldn't get her head around how they could deliver such good food and with quality produce at the price they do, I had one... Very busy pub with lovely food in plentiful supply. Children welcome and well looked after with crayons etc. Adults looked after even better with a choice of guest beers to accompany your food.
